Latches 5 pack
Latches 5 pack
ProductI got some latches that were supposed to come in packs of 5, but they only had 1 latch in each one! What a rip off! I called customer service and they said they'd send me the missing latches, but then they changed their minds and decided not to send anything. Rona scammed me!
Smart door sensors purchase
Smart door sensors purchase
ProductI bought some smart door sensors from your website not too long ago. The whole ordering thing went smoothly and I got a confirmation right away. But when my package arrived, I was kind of bummed out. The stuff inside wasn't what I was hoping for. One of the sensors looked like it had already been opened or returned before, with the seal broken and the box messed up. The other one was all dusty, like it had been chilling on the shelves for ages.
Shower purchase
Shower purchase
ProductI bought a shower online for $3,140 and was super excited for it to arrive. But when it finally did, I was so bummed out because it looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The colors were all off, and the quality was way less than I was expecting. I had to dish out more money to get an expert to set it up for me, which was a pain. When I reached out to customer service, they tried to offer me just $100 at first, can you believe it? After going back and forth for almost an hour, they finally upped it to $200. It was such a frustrating and disappointing experience. I also noticed that the reviews on the site seemed kinda filtered, so now I don't even know what to trust anymore.
About RONA
RONA is a Canadian retailer of home improvement and construction products and services. Founded in 1939 as "Les Marchands en Quincaillerie" (The Merchants of Hardware) in Quebec, it grew from a group of independent hardware stores into one of the country's leading chains of its type. The company expanded through a series of acquisitions and store openings, becoming a significant player in the Canadian home improvement market. RONA was acquired by Lowe's, an American retail chain, in 2016, further expanding its footprint in Canada. The brand operates several types of stores, including large "big box" locations and smaller traditional outlets, catering to both professional contractors and do-it-yourself consumers. Its product offerings include construction materials, tools, gardening products, and home renovation items.
