    Stereo cable

    The stereo cable I got from here had a problem where one end didn't work even though I plugged it in all the way. I contacted customer service and they said they'd replace it because I've been a loyal customer. But when I told them I was moving out of the hospital and needed to change my address, they couldn't seem to get it. No matter how many times I explained, they kept saying they couldn't do it unless the order was over 6 months old. It was really frustrating and disappointing that they couldn't be more flexible and understanding. I won't be buying from here again.

    I ordered some media cables from this place thinking I'd get them pretty quick. Their shipping policy said orders ship within 1 business day, but it's day 3 and still no sign of my order. Contacted customer service and got the usual excuse about a "new system." If this happens a lot, they should just be honest about it on their website, eh.

    HDMI cable

    I bought an HDMI cable from this company. But when I tried to cancel my order, I saw that I couldn't cancel it, only return it. So, I considered returning it even though I live on the east coast and it would cost me over $100 to ship it back to California. But I changed my mind and decided to just keep the item. I left a review on their website to share my experience, but they took it down less than an hour later! That's just not right. It's not fair for a company to behave like that.

    Defective subwoofer return

    I just bought a subwoofer from the store and it turned out to be defective, so I had to return it. But then, the return package somehow went missing while on its way back to the store. Even after I explained everything, Monoprice still wouldn't give me a refund and blamed me for the missing package. This whole thing has really frustrated and disappointed me with their customer service.

    Bass guitar purchase

    So, I bought this bass guitar online recently, and let me tell you, my experience with the company hasn't been great. The packaging was pretty shoddy, just a flimsy cardboard box with no protection, and as a result, there was some damage. Plus, the guitar was the wrong color - not what I ordered at all. And on top of that, there were issues with buzzing on the 13th or 14th fret on the E string, which was not cool. Dealing with the return was a pain too, conflicting info from automated emails and customer service. The replacement guitar they sent was also the wrong color. They said they'd give me a discount on my next purchase, but I never heard back from them. All in all, dealing with this company has just been a hassle and totally unprofessional.

    Desk purchase with missing piece

    Eh, so I bought this desk from that company, eh. And, like, it arrived with a piece missing, you know? So I reached out to customer service to get it sorted, and they tell me it's gonna take 3-4 weeks to get that small piece replaced. The desk itself is good quality and exactly what I wanted, but the slow fix is a letdown. As a savvy customer, I can't really recommend buying from a company that can't deal with problems quick, eh.

    Metal encased iPhone lightning cable replacement

    I just had a problem with my iPhone charging cable from Monoprice - it stopped working properly. I contacted their customer service team and they got back to me really quickly.     Fantastic customer service

    I recently made an order with this company and I gotta say, their customer service is top-notch. Their prices are real good and they don't waste no time processing orders. But, y'know, my package got lost in the mail. I got in touch with their customer service team and they sent out a new order right away with a different delivery service. I got my package just two days later, way quicker than I thought I would. They were real fast at replying to my messages too, always getting back to me within a day. All in all, I'm super happy with their stellar customer service.

    Update on order availability

    I never heard back from the escalations department after I sent an email about my last review. It seems like the customer service team might not be as quick to respond as they say they are. On October 29th, they told me the item I ordered in July was out of stock, even though they said it would be available in November. I'm thankful that I didn't have to wait longer or risk losing my money.

    I recently bought some tech accessories from here, but my credit card info got stolen right after. It was the first time I used this card for anything other than bills in the last few months, so it sucks that it happened. I also found out that something similar went down in 2010, when the site got shut down for an investigation.

    Questionable business practices

    I just bought something from this company and I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with how sketchy their business practices are. When I got my order, I saw some spam on the invoice that led to a totally different website. This just screams unprofessional and makes me wonder what other shady stuff they might be up to in order to trick customers. Not shocked to hear about payment info getting leaked, even though Monoprice is denying any part in it.

    I ordered some cables from this store not too long ago, and I gotta say, I'm not too happy about it. The shipping is taking forever, I'm honestly starting to wonder if my cables will ever show up. I placed my order back on 9/25 and it's now 10/05 and still no sign of it. The fact that they're not giving me any updates is really getting on my nerves, especially since they keep changing the expected shipping dates without telling me why. I get that delays can happen, but c'mon, just give me a heads up at least!

    Faulty goods refund

    Let me tell you, this company is a total nightmare to deal with. They promised me a refund for some faulty goods, and it's been nothing but frustration ever since. I had to go through so many hoops, make an account - for what reason, who knows, since I'll never buy from them again. Every time I reach out, they tell me my refund is "processing." What's to process? They've had my bank info for over a week now, and still no refund. I'm so done with their lies and games. Steer clear of this company if you want to keep your sanity and your cash.

    USB-C and S/PDIF (Toslink) optical cables

    I recently bought a USB-C cable and an S/PDIF (Toslink) optical cable online. It all seemed pretty straightforward at first, but when I started looking into the different USB standards, it got pretty overwhelming. The website didn't do a great job of explaining the differences between their "Charge & Sync" and "Data & Power" cables, which left me feeling confused. Luckily, the customer service team was really helpful and quickly answered all my questions, giving me the info I needed to make a smart choice. The AtlasFlex USB cable I got looks top-notch, with a strong jacket that promises it'll last.

    Now, onto the S/PDIF (Toslink) cable – that's where things got a bit tricky. I found out there are full-sized and mini Toslink connectors out there, and Monoprice does a good job of describing their optical cables on the website. But, it would be super helpful if they could label each picture to show what kind of connector they feature. This way, customers could easily pick the right cable for their specific needs.

    Office chair purchase

    Got my office chair real fast. Putting it all together wasn't too bad, but the washers and bolts were all mixed up which was kind of annoying. Some pieces were a bit wonky and not cut right, especially the headrest part. When I tried to clip it in, it broke off and now it sticks out funny.<br><br>The quality is alright, not amazing though. The seat is pretty short so if you're taller than 5'2, watch out for that headrest poking your shoulder blades.
