Shirt purchase
So I bought this shirt from this store, eh, and then I saw this ad with a guy who looks super aggressive, you know? He looked like he was gonna throw a punch or something, which is not cool at all. Like, why would they show violence like that? Completely unacceptable! I shared it on social media, and everyone was on the same page as me, it's just not right. I can't believe they'd do something like that in today's world. Definitely not gonna be supporting them anymore, that's for sure, eh.
Workwear purchase
So I, like, bought some work clothes online recently. And like, I was so pumped to get my stuff, but man, the delivery was a mess! I got all these messages saying my order was on its way, but it still took forever to arrive. And every time I tried to sort things out with customer service, they were just so unhelpful and didn't care at all. It was a total letdown how they didn't seem to care about fixing things. I had to go through so much hassle just to get a refund, and even that wasn't easy. Overall, it was super frustrating and I definitely wouldn't recommend buying from them.
Online order refund
Just wanted to share a bummer experience I had with a retailer's online order refund. So I ordered something in September, but the courier sent it back instead of delivering it. The retailer got the item on the 14th, but it took almost two months and a bunch of emails for me to get my refund. It was a really drawn-out process and now I'm pretty let down by the customer service and company efficiency. I'm not so sure about making any more purchases from them in the future.
Work boots purchase
Recently, I had a rough time with a pair of boots my son-in-law got. So, I thought I'd order my own work boots from the same company. But, it's been a whole 18 days since I placed my order and it ended up going to the wrong place. Now it's been sent back to the return center. When I reached out to customer service, they weren't much help at all. They said they couldn't sort out the order and the sizes I needed were all gone. Nobody seemed willing to take responsibility, not even the customer service or the courier. Looks like I'll have to find another place to shop from now on.
Online shoe order
I recently ordered a pair of shoes online from a specific store. Sadly, the shoes never made it to my place even though I tried multiple times to check on the delivery. I contacted the store's customer service, but they said it was the delivery company's job. When I contacted the delivery company, they blamed the retailer. This whole situation left me feeling frustrated and let down. In the end, I didn't get the shoes or a refund. Needless to say, I won't be buying from that store again.
Stanley Classic Legendary 1.5QT Bottle
As a customer of Mark's, I recently bought a Stanley Classic Legendary 1.5QT Bottle online. But when it arrived, it was only wrapped in double plastic bags, which wasn't enough to keep it safe. The bottom ended up getting dented during shipping, which was a bummer. I was worried because this kind of product can easily get damaged if not packaged properly. I even took some pictures of the dented bottle to show what happened. I've always been a loyal customer and I was hoping for more care to be taken when packing my order, especially from a store like Mark's.
Pants with holes in them
I went to that store on Victoria Ave and oh my goodness, it was the worst experience ever! I bought some pants with holes in them, and when I tried to return them, the customer service was terrible! The employees were so rude and didn't even apologize for selling me defective pants. I will never shop there again and I recommend you don't either!
Loose fitting jeans
Don't even bother with those baggy jeans. They're so flimsy and badly put together. I got a couple pairs and in no time, one of them ripped at the crotch and corner of the back pocket. Plus, the dye leaked into the pockets after just one wash. I swapped the torn pair, but the new one tore in the same spot soon after. I ended up getting some cheap jeans from a different store and they're still going strong after a year. Don't bother with those jeans, save your money and time for something better.
Clothing purchase
I've been a loyal customer for so many years, but lately I've noticed a drop in the quality of the products at the store. It feels like everything is just a tad better than what you'd find at a thrift store, and the sizes are all over the place. There's an overwhelming amount of plaid in their product lines, and don't even get me started on the sizing for men's tops - some of them are as huge as a tent and practically reach your ankles. I used to shop at Marks all the time, but now I've cut back by a whopping 75%. I really believe that the store can do better, and the buyers need to step up their game.
Wool beanie purchase
I got this wool beanie from the store, and man, it was not a good experience. This merino wool beanie from China made my head so itchy, eh. I was hoping it wouldn't bother my sensitive skin, but it just didn't cut it in terms of comfort, bud.
Winter boots
I bought some winter boots online and chose to pick them up at a nearby store. The whole thing was a letdown. They said I'd get them in 1-4 days, but then I got an email saying there was a delay. I waited and waited for more info, but heard nothing. Finally, after a whole month, I checked in on my order and found out it had been at the store this whole time. I was pretty annoyed with the lack of updates and slow service.
work clothes
Mark's is a great place to grab my work clothes, but man, they seriously need to work on their lineup. It felt like I was stuck in an eternal line at the grocery store when someone is having issues with their coupons. Everyone in line was getting pretty upset, it was like we were all trapped in a grumpy prison. Come on, Mark's, you gotta fix this situation right away!
Bought boots, leaked in the rain
Oh man, I got these boots thinking they'd keep my feet dry in the rain, but they ended up leaking like crazy! I tried to exchange them, but the new pair was no better. And then the store said they couldn't take them back since it had been over 100 days, which sucks. I'm definitely not going back there to shop again.
Overspending on Promotional Discount
I bought something from this store with a promo code they gave me. But when I returned an item, they spread the $15 discount between everything I bought. So, when I took something back, I lost part of the discount even though I still spent over $50. Both the salesperson and the manager wouldn't help fix the problem, which was pretty disappointing.
Women's turtlenecks
I got this turtleneck and it was way too small, I should've ordered a bigger size. The fabric wasn't comfy and the neck was all messed up. And the colors faded even though I washed it carefully. When I tried to leave a review, the company said it didn't meet their standards. What a joke, hey!
My new sweater
I got this super awesome sweater from that store with the huge red sign. But oh my goodness, the lady at the cash was seriously the grumpiest person I've ever seen! She didn't even crack a smile, didn't greet me, and just looked like she absolutely hated her job. Like seriously, why even work in customer service if you're going to be so unpleasant? I almost felt like leaving my sweater and making a run for it!
Outdoor equipment purchase
I was over in Newmarket and stopped by the store. Let me tell you, the customer service I got there was top-notch. Auston, who works there, was a gem. He really knew his stuff and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He took the time to show me different options and sizes. His dedication to making sure I was happy with my purchase was really something. Big thanks to Auston and the whole crew at the store for making my shopping trip so great!
Online order
I just wanted to share my recent online shopping experience where I bought something, but it never arrived. The shipping company couldn't show that it was delivered, so I never got the stuff I ordered. I tried contacting customer service, but they never got back to me or gave me a refund. It was really frustrating and disappointing to be left hanging like that. In the end, I had to get my credit card company involved to dispute the charges and hopefully get my money back.
A pair of shoes
So, hey, I ordered these super cool shoes, eh? And man, I’ve been waiting for over two months for them to show up! It’s really bugging me because every time I get in touch with them, they keep saying the shoes were delivered by now. But like, when I look at the tracking info, it’s pretty clear that the shoes are still just sitting there waiting for the delivery guy to pick them up!
