    Lightweight garden hose

    I'm really disappointed with the lightweight garden hose I bought. It started leaking from the nozzle end back 18" along the seam and the nozzle even came off within a year. When I contacted the company, they wouldn't help since the warranty had just expired. I've had other garden hoses for over 15 years with no problems, so I was surprised this one didn't last longer. The company's response was pretty uninspiring, just giving me a website for repairs. Overall, very let down by the whole situation.

    Extendable lopping shears

    I got these lopping shears with extendable handles, thinking they'd be great for yard work. But, turns out the plastic buttons that release the handles are terrible! One broke after a few uses, so now the handle won't stay put. I reached out for help, and all they said was they couldn't fix it, but would love to sell me another pair. Nah, I'll pass! I won't be shopping there again.

    Cool tools for my dad

    I got these really awesome tools for my dad, but when he tried to return one of them, it turned into a big whole ordeal. The company has great products, but dealing with returns is such a hassle. It takes forever to get your refund, even after they receive the item back!

    Hand-carved duck call purchase

    I bought a hand-carved duck call from this company not long ago. But I was kinda bummed out when I didn't get a confirmation email with my tracking number. Even though I got charged for it, I still haven't heard anything about where my order is at. I tried reaching out to customer service by email, but haven't heard back from them. This whole lack of communication thing is getting on my nerves because I've never had problems like this when ordering stuff online.

    Screwed over $154.35

    Trust Pilot really saved me, should've paid more attention. Garrett Wade took my money and didn't even send me what I ordered. At first, they just made a shipping label, then said they would ship it after I contacted them, but in the end, they sent me a cheaper part of the item. Now I'm trying to get my money back from my credit card company.

    Saw deduction from account but received no products

    This company took money from my account and I waited for 10 days without getting any products or updates on my order. It was only after my third phone call that they told me they didn't even send out anything because they didn't have it in stock.

    I am now talking to our Comptroller and Attorney General about this problem. You can't just take my money and not send what I ordered!

    Wrong item

    They really messed up by sending me the wrong item and then making me foot the bill for their mistake. It was such a hassle, I had to use my own time and gas to drive to the Post Office and send back the item they sent by mistake. And get this, they didn't even stick to their own return policy! It clearly states that the item "purchased" has to be returned for a refund. They seem to think that "purchased" and "received" mean the same thing, but that's just not right. And when I offered to just leave the item on my porch for pick-up, they insisted that I cough up $10 and take it to the Post Office myself. Can you believe it?

    I ordered a garden kneeler as a present

    I ordered a garden kneeler as a gift, but it's been out of stock since before Christmas and now it's almost Valentine's Day! They keep emailing me saying it's still out of stock, like, seriously, figure it out! I definitely won't be ordering from them again, no chance.

    Four tool items

    I ordered four tool items back in January that were all in stock. A few days later, I noticed a charge of $266.97 on my credit card. Even though the carrier's website showed the status as "shipping details received," the items never showed up. After waiting three weeks with no updates, I reached out to Garrett Wade customer service. They said their investigations team would follow up within a day or two. However, after a week passed with no word, I received a partial credit on my card of $251.94 on Feb 23, around $15 less because of Canadian exchange rates. I never got an explanation for the delay and was disappointed with the lack of communication from Garrett Wade, as their Customer Rep promised. It seems the items never even left the warehouse based on the shipper's info. The $15 teaches me a lesson not to order from them again. Their customer service didn't deliver on their promises, and their shipping department has clear issues. In the future, I'll stick with Lee Valley for my tool purchases.

    Recent online purchase

    I just bought something online and had some problems with the delivery. It took way longer than it was supposed to - 8 days instead of 3-5. And to top it off, they sent it to the wrong place, so I got the wrong thing. I got in touch with customer service right away to cancel the order and get my money back. But I still haven't seen the refund come through.

    I recently bought some garden tools and accessories from this company. The packaging wasn't great, the box was all messed up from shipping because it wasn't packed properly. Some of the stuff looked damaged or used too. When I reached out to Customer Service, it was tough 'cause they're not in Canada and didn't get what I was saying about the tracking info I had to show they got my package. I got so frustrated with the whole thing, now I'm trying to dispute the charge on my credit card. And when I called the company, the menu system was annoying, there was no live person to help me no matter what extension I picked.

    Ratcheting pruning shears

    I always expect top-notch products when I buy something, so I was really excited about getting those ratcheting pruning shears from this company. But when I got them, I was super let down. They were made in Taiwan and had a bunch of plastic parts, which was a big no for me. I noticed right away that the blade didn't line up properly with the strike plate, and the ratchet thing felt cheap and weak. Those issues made me want to send them back right away. I paid a lot for shipping, thinking I'd get a great tool, so it was a real bummer that they didn't meet my expectations. I ended up finding a better pair at Home Depot instead. It was really disappointing, and I hope the company can step up their game in the future.

    Master-Select Crafts Tool Set

    I recently bought the Master-Select Crafts Tool Set from this company, and I have to say, I was really let down by the quality of the tools. When I got the tool case, I saw that it was broken and some of the tool accessories were loose. The hammering block was totally ripped out of the case, which was a big letdown. Also, after using it just once, the handle of the small handheld vise broke off. The hammer had a huge dent on the striking surface and the small metal sheer latch was completely powder-coated shut, so I couldn't use it at all. It's disappointing to see such low-quality products being sold, especially for the price I paid. And on top of that, when I left a negative review on their website, it magically disappeared within minutes, which was really irritating.

    So I bought this garden hose that was supposed to be super high quality, but after using it for just a year, it straight up exploded on me. And to top it off, the company didn't want to do anything about it because it was over a year old. Like, come on!     Screwed-up refund process

    Don't bother with this company's supposed 90-day return policy. It's a joke and a waste of time. They say they'll give you a full refund within 90 days, but good luck actually getting it. The amount they refund is always off, and sometimes they claim they've refunded you when they haven't. And if you try talking to their customer service, good luck again. They're useless, rude, and just plain incompetent. Hours on the phone, arguing, waiting on hold - all for nothing. Stay away from this company, unless you want to deal with a bunch of crooked idiots!

    I ordered a set of salt and pepper shakers online. When they arrived, they were perfect. I decided to buy another set, but this time they came damaged. I got in touch with customer service and sent some pictures. They sent me a replacement, but it had nicks and chips on it.     Paring knife purchase

    I recently bought a paring knife and noticed some stains on the blade after just one use, even though I regularly oil my knives. I was pretty disappointed about it. So I decided to contact customer service and share my concerns. Surprisingly, within 24 hours, Garrett Wade got back to me and admitted that this wasn't a common issue and was probably a defect in the knife. They quickly offered to send me a new knife without needing me to return the old one. And within a week, I got the new blade, which I'm happy to say hasn't stained at all. I'm really impressed with Garrett Wade's dedication to making sure customers are happy and standing behind their products. Other companies should definitely take notes from them.
