    Four tool items

    I ordered four tool items back in January that were all in stock. A few days later, I noticed a charge of $266.97 on my credit card. Even though the carrier's website showed the status as "shipping details received," the items never showed up. After waiting three weeks with no updates, I reached out to Garrett Wade customer service. They said their investigations team would follow up within a day or two. However, after a week passed with no word, I received a partial credit on my card of $251.94 on Feb 23, around $15 less because of Canadian exchange rates. I never got an explanation for the delay and was disappointed with the lack of communication from Garrett Wade, as their Customer Rep promised. It seems the items never even left the warehouse based on the shipper's info. The $15 teaches me a lesson not to order from them again. Their customer service didn't deliver on their promises, and their shipping department has clear issues. In the future, I'll stick with Lee Valley for my tool purchases.
