V12 slim detect purchase
My V12 slim detector, bought in March, suddenly crapped out on me! I've tried reaching out to customer service multiple times but still haven't been able to chat with a real person or get any kind of assistance. This $800 purchase is seriously getting on my nerves.
Corrale Flat Iron
I bought the Corrale Flat iron a little over 3 years ago, and it came with a 2-year warranty. But recently, it stopped holding its charge. I always took good care of it, following the instructions to leave it on the charger. When I contacted the customer service team, they couldn't give me another charger to test if that was the issue. All they could do was apologize and offer a small discount if I wanted to buy another one. I had already spent $600 on it, so buying another one felt like too much. The quality of the item didn't match the high price tag. I tried reaching out to the repair center, but it was difficult because there are only two in all of Ontario. Finally, when I did make contact, they also just offered me a discount on a new purchase. For a company this big and well-known, the level of customer service and response was really disappointing. When you pay so much for a product, you expect a certain level of quality and support, which was lacking here. I would advise against investing in this expensive product.
Cordless vacuum and refurbished fan
I recently picked up a cordless vacuum and a refurbished fan from this company. Even though they were a bit pricier, I gotta say, the quality totally backs it up. The cordless vacuum works like a dream, and I love that I can switch out the battery down the road if I need to. And the refurbished fan I snagged off their Ebay store actually came with a warranty, which is pretty rare for second-hand stuff. It's brought me some extra peace of mind, for sure.
Dyson V10 Animal vacuum
I got the Dyson V10 Animal vacuum a couple of years back and gotta say, when it actually works, it's pretty good. But man, it's been a real pain in the butt. I keep getting stuff stuck in the openings and have to constantly troubleshoot. In the past two years, I've had to change the filter, stick, and battery because it kept overheating. Dealing with customer service was also a mess - sent in my vacuum for repair and was left hanging for two months because of mix-ups and issues with the process. I mean, the free battery replacement was nice and all, but overall, this vacuum has been a massive letdown, especially for the price.
Overpriced machine
So I bought this super expensive machine, thinking it would be worth it, but it was a total waste, eh? It broke down in no time and when I tried to reach out for help, they basically ignored me and just tried to sell me another one. Like, really? I just spent all this money and now you want me to spend more, eh? So not cool, eh? And don't even get me started on the lack of customer service - it's like talking to a brick wall, eh?
Hair dryer purchase
I'm loving my new hair dryer, eh! It dries my hair so quick and leaves it all smooth and shiny, eh. But man, talking to customer service felt like it took forever, and they just kept asking me the same questions over and over again, like, seriously, eh?
Vacuum purchase experience
The customer service at this place is just terrible. I ordered a vacuum at the end of December and so far, I've only gotten a small part of it. I've been calling them every week for updates, but all they keep telling me is the same thing - "it should arrive this week". There's been no email, no tracking number, nothing. And to make matters worse, the last person I talked to actually hung up on me when I said I would stay on the line until I got his email confirmation. It's just so frustrating dealing with this kind of incompetence. I'd definitely suggest buying your vacuum from a store instead of online, unless you want to go through all this disappointment and hassle. This situation is starting to seem very sketchy to me.
Attachment replacement delay
So I had an issue where my vacuum cleaner attachment stopped working right after the warranty expired. I got in touch with customer service and they said they'd give me a discount on a new attachment. This was back in February and it's now almost August, but I still haven't received the replacement part. Because of this long wait, I've had to go back to using my old central vacuum, which isn't as powerful as the Dyson. I'm really let down by this whole situation and wouldn't suggest this brand to anyone.
Dyson V8 stick vacuum
So I got this neat Dyson V8 stick vacuum, eh? But then the battery went kaput on me, so I had to get a replacement. I called customer service and they said it's gonna take forever for me to get my new battery! I mean, come on, why didn't they just check the battery before sending it to me in the first place, right? Now I gotta wait like two months just to get it replaced, eh? Seriously not cool, Dyson, seriously not cool.
3rd vacuum
I bought my 3rd vacuum, eh, and sadly, it needs to be swapped out 'cause of shoddy work. The customer service hasn't been much help and is taking forever to sort it out, eh. It's been 8 days since I asked for a replacement, but it still hasn't been sent out. I've tried calling customer service multiple times, but it's been no use, leaving me feeling annoyed and let down. I wouldn't suggest buying this product, given the lousy quality and lack of support, eh.
Dyson V8 Animal - Motor issue after 3 years
I bought the Dyson V8 Animal about 3 years ago, thinking it would be a top-notch vacuum that would stick around for a while. But darn it, lately the motor has been conking out on me. When I reached out to customer service, they said I need to replace the motor. It's a real letdown that a fancy product like this would have such a big problem after just a few years. I was counting on better quality and durability from a brand like Dyson. Maybe I should have just gone with a tried-and-true Swiffer broom instead.
Vacuum purchase
Had the worst time dealing with customer service when my old vacuum conked out without a warranty. Tried contacting them through email and phone, but all I got were generic responses and no real help. The person on the phone sounded like they couldn't care less and just tried to sell me a new vacuum at a higher price than what I could find at a store. Eventually got myself a new vacuum that I'm happy with, but I sure hope I never have to deal with their customer service ever again.
Professional advice from Azeem, Dyson Yorkdale Store
I popped by the Dyson Yorkdale Store not long ago and got a ton of great advice from Azeem. Let me tell you, that guy knows his stuff! He really helped me pick out the perfect product for what I needed. Azeem took the time to walk me through all the cool features and benefits of the product, and he had answers for all my questions. The service I got was top-notch and I walked out of there feeling super confident about my purchase.
Cyclone V10 vacuum
I bought the Cyclone V10 vacuum and darn it, it conked out before a year was up 'cause the battery died. Not cool, especially since the thing ain't cheap. Shipping took forever and to top it off, even though I gave my suite number every time, they forgot to put it on the label so it took even longer to get to me. I had to set up the vacuum by myself and honestly, I don't trust how long it'll last. Company's been sending me a bunch of basic emails but haven't really tried to make things right with me.
Replacement unit
I am really frustrated with the service I got for my replacement unit. I waited for almost 6 months, kept being told it was coming soon. But every time I checked, I was told lies and given excuses. The company's lack of transparency and responsibility is not ok. I thought a big company like this would have better customer service.
Recent vacuum purchase
I bought a vacuum not too long ago and now the battery is acting up right before the warranty runs out. I reached out to the customer service folks and managed to figure out the problem, but lo and behold, it's acting up again just a month later even though I've been diligent about cleaning the filters. I'm pretty let down by the fact that they're not stepping up to replace the battery under warranty.
Vacuum Cleaner Purchase
As a customer who just bought a vacuum, I gotta say, I was super let down by the company's service. From the get-go, there were a bunch of delays with the delivery, so I had to keep bugging customer service. But every time I called, I got stuck talking to unhelpful reps who didn't know what was going on with my order and couldn't explain why it was taking so long. And to top it off, when I finally said, "Okay, cancel my order," they told me I'd have to wait even longer for that to go through. Honestly, dealing with this company has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing.
Cordless vacuum cleaner
I've been having some major issues with my cordless vacuum. It's been a real pain, you know? The battery life is way too short, so I keep having to stop and recharge it in the middle of cleaning. Plus, there's this problem with a faulty seal that I've been trying to get fixed. It's stopping me from using the vacuum at full power, which is super annoying. The worst part is that I haven't heard back from the manufacturer at all. It's been really frustrating, and now I'm not sure if I want to buy anything else from them until they sort this out. Honestly, for the price I paid, I expected way better quality and customer service. So yeah, pretty disappointed all around.
