First saw it on IG

Product

Saw it on a friend's IG and hesitated — doubts faded after first use, pretty pleased, honestly.

Half the price, real relief

Price

Half expecting a runaround, but seeing valid certificates for my four rescue dogs — and the price was only $100, not $200 — I relaxed, actually satisfied.

Worked eventually

Product

double-check sizes before you buy.

Still on my list

Delivery

Been ordering from Canada Vet Express for about 20 years — first saw them at my vet's office; I told a neighbour once. I remember when an order showed up days early, that sealed it.

Phone gave nothing

Communication

Called because my older dog needs a back-support harness — had surgery recently. Phone rep wouldn't say why site was down or when it would be fixed, pretty unhelpful. Ended up ordering from Canada Pet Care, price a bit higher but delivery arrived on time, so mixed feelings.

That moment I trusted them

App & Portal

Use their coffee pods and kitchen bits every morning; the day a late-but-still-on-time replacement showed up before my shift I knew I could trust them, relieved — but 'not available in your region' is annoying

Ordering hiccup after years

Checkout

I've used their meds for my dog for years and they always felt legit — packaging, dosing, all fine when it arrived. Lately the site won't load and checkout says no shipping to the US. Still annoyed, but the product's solid so I'll stick around.

Packaging made me pause

Product

Saw it first on a local pet group and even told my neighbour about it. I hesitated — packaging looked odd compared to the vet's version, not gonna lie. After the clinic checked and my dog did fine for two months, I felt relieved, actually satisfied.

Where did the meds go?

Price

I used to pop flea/heart meds on our feral cats and the odd dog — simple to do, actually works. Lately they're out or marked up like a vet visit, and I'm here juggling carriers and change; not perfect but I still wish they'd restock and tone down prices.

Odd tracking, worked out

Tracking

I needed this mattress topper for my sore lower back before moving, so I was watching the tracking. It said Curaçao and I raised an eyebrow, but when it finally arrived (only a bit late) it actually did the job — relief, no drama, so I'm relieved.

Ordering on hold

App & Portal

Not ideal — I can't place orders for a month. I've used them for over two years and was usually pleased, so this was annoying. They said login security issues; one whole month to fix. Phone rep was actually helpful and honest, which surprised me. Inconvenient, but I might stick with them.

Muddy-paws update

Communication

Sitting on the kitchen floor with muddy paws from our lab, I realized I couldn't reach Canada Vet Express anymore. Annoying — used to be quick and their Bravecto actually did the trick for ticks after our hikes. Now radio silence, and the vet's meds are too pricey. If anyone found a reliable alternative, tell me, please, out there.

Shipping stopped after a smooth first order

Delivery

Funny — last time my topical arrived with no fuss, but today I couldn’t reorder online or by phone. Customer rep told me all shipments to US and Canada are suspended. Bit annoying, but the rep was clear and polite. Maybe a regulatory thing or local vet association pushed Customs. Glad my earlier order went smoothly.

Cost win for three dogs

Price

first shipment took about two weeks, so plan ahead, but overall pretty relieved.

Steady delivery, site a bit flaky

Delivery

I've ordered here for years, usually no fuss. It ships from the UK and the parcels get here quicker than I'd expect. Their website was down for a couple days recently, so I had to look elsewhere for my dogs' meds — annoying, and I wish they'd post a note. Customer service has been okay in the past, I haven't needed them lately. Still, reliable delivery so I'd use them again, but check the site first.

Finally sorted, pup’s covered

Returns & Refunds

I'm glad it all worked out and my dog’s covered — took a detour but ended fine. I ordered chewables for our golden and they shipped a topical instead, which was annoying, and I had to show screenshots to prove what I ordered. After a couple back-and-forths they accepted the return, refunded me, and sent the right chewables; I give them with breakfast before our hikes. It was a bit of a hassle and I was frustrated for a sec, but now relieved and will order again, just double-checking confirmations.

Kitchen thought about meds

Delivery

Sat in my kitchen today thinking about the mess with getting meds for my feral cats — been buying from these folks for almost two years, but a recent order was sent back by Canada Customs. Apparently one ingredient isn’t allowed, which is maddening because local vets sell the same product steps away from me. The company was honest and tried to explain, so credit where it’s due, but now I’m stuck trying to trap stressed ferals and shell out vet fees just to get meds — not fun and pricey. Tried another supplier and hit the same roadblock, so this really feels like a customs problem, not them. Frustrating.

Still worth it for the meds

Delivery

I'd still use them for the price, but don't expect steady delivery right now. I first heard about CanadaVetExpress on a local pet group and later tipped a friend; meds matched our vet's prescriptions and were noticeably cheaper, so that was the draw. Lately their site popped up with "Not available in your region" and the phone number never connected — tried more than once. I emailed and got a reply: they say logistics are suspended with no ETA, they apologized. Bit annoying, but hopeful they'll fix it.

Quietly useful, but flaky

App & Portal

you can make it online but once it’s set you can’t change anything in your account. Want to switch payment, move the ship date, or change the product? You have to actually talk to someone. Good luck with that — phone lines are hit or miss and emails don’t seem to do much. On a recent cycle the website was basically nonfunctional and I couldn’t log in for at least a couple of weeks. No notice, no shipments for some autoship customers it seems, and that’s what pushed me to look elsewhere. I’m honestly a bit disappointed they left people hanging like that, but I’m also glad my dog didn’t miss a dose (I had a backup). Shipping usually takes 10–14 days so plan ahead — if that’s an issue for you, maybe don’t rely on last‑minute refills. My general advice: use them for the price, but keep a backup plan and try to call early if you need changes. Grateful it mostly worked out, but definitely room for improvement.

Juggling cats, a box and some relief

Delivery

the tubes looked sealed and the labels matched what the vet uses. It actually worked — fleas were noticeably down within a few days. That sealed packaging and the quick effect are the big wins for me. Downsides: shipping is slow, plan on about two weeks most times, and recently their website was down so I had to switch suppliers which felt messy. Customer service has been okay but not great; you get answers eventually, but it can take a bit. I don't care much where the product ships from as long as it's safe and effective, and so far it has been. So yeah, not perfect, a bit of hassle at times, but for someone juggling lots of cats and zero time for vet trips, this has been a practical, affordable fix.
