Stove purchase
I bought a stove from that camping store and it was a total letdown. The stove came three times, and all three times it was smashed in the corners. I tried to tell the customer service folks how urgent it was because I was leaving for a trip in just a few days and really needed a working stove. But they didn't listen, and each time the stove came with hardly any protection, so it got smashed again. When I asked for a discount for keeping the broken stove, all they offered was a measly $25. The customer service was just terrible, and I am really unhappy with my purchase.
Recent camper purchase
I recently bought a camper from this company and I gotta say, the whole experience has been a real letdown. Right from the get-go, the camper has had a bunch of problems, and the customer service I got when I tried to get them fixed was really disappointing. The folks there gave me wrong info and didn't seem to care much about helping me out. Because of all this, I wouldn't suggest buying from this company.
RV repairs
My family's experience at this RV sales place was a disaster. My dad, who's a disabled Vietnam vet, took his RV in for repairs in November, and everything went downhill from there. They said they'd fix it under warranty or out-of-pocket, but after six months of waiting, nothing was done. The communication was terrible, and whenever we called for updates, they had no clue. When we finally picked up the RV in May, the service person couldn't even explain the bill or what repairs were made. The way they treated us was so unprofessional and disrespectful. They wouldn't even let us talk to the manager or owner when we raised our concerns. It's a shame they don't respond to negative feedback. Based on other reviews, it seems like bad service is a common problem there, so I recommend avoiding that place at all costs.
RV accessories
As a customer at Camping World, eh, I recently bought some RV accessories for my upcoming camping trip. The whole ordering process went super smoothly, no problems at all, eh. The customer service I got was outstanding - the staff were really helpful and knew their stuff when it came to picking out the right gear for me. The prices were fair and competitive with other stores, eh. My order arrived quickly and in good shape, right on time. Overall, I had a great time shopping at Camping World and would for sure recommend it to other camping fans, eh.
Navion RV from a store in Panama City
I recently got a Navion RV from a shop in Panama City and I've had it for about 8 weeks now. Unfortunately, in the first week I had it, I had to take it in for repairs because of the original issues it had when I bought it. The shop set up an appointment for me to bring it in and said it would be ready in time for a trip I had planned. However, two weeks passed without any updates from them. I tried reaching out through email, texts, and calls for an update, but I was told they hadn't even started working on it yet. Long story short, my trip came and went and I still didn't have my RV. On top of that, they cashed my check on time without doing the repairs they promised. I talked to a bunch of people, like the service rep, service manager, store manager (who was the worst), and even a corporate representative, and it seems like Camping World doesn't care about making customers happy.
Recent RV purchase
I recently bought something at that campground and let me tell you, I was super let down with how things went down. They gave me a price via email, but when I showed up in person, they said it was different because of the age of my vehicle. I gave them all the info they needed, but still had to go back and forth with a bunch of folks just to try and get a fair deal. It was so annoying and I definitely felt like they were trying to pull a fast one on me.
Used camper with several accessories
I'm really disappointed with my experience at Camping World. The staff used sneaky tactics to charge me more than they should have, and they ran my credit score through a bunch of banks without asking me. They didn't give me the right value for my old camper, and they tried to sell me extra warranties I didn't need. The hitch they gave me was wrong and needed an adapter, and they didn't clean the camper properly before delivery. It felt like they were taking advantage of me as a customer.
Sealant purchase
Today I went to the store and picked up some sealant. Shirley and Destin were super helpful! They answered all my questions and helped me find what I was looking for. I'm really pleased with the customer service here, they even matched the price of the sealant for me. I'll definitely be returning here for all my camping supplies.
Camper trailer
Our experience buying a camper trailer at the store was kind of frustrating. The wait for the financial paperwork took way too long, even though we were paying cash. It seemed like they were trying to make us wait so they could sell us more stuff or insurance. Plus, the paperwork itself was boring and took forever. The loud music outside was super annoying. It was hard to talk to the salesperson and made the whole experience not fun. Our salesperson was nice and knew a lot, but they made a mistake about insurance. They said we had to buy insurance before we left, but we found out later that wasn't totally true. Overall, the process could have been easier and faster.
Clear Coat Application
I just got the clear coat put on my RV at Camping World after waiting half a year for an opening. But man, was I let down. They finished it when they said they would, but the job was not great. The clear coat wasn't very visible and didn't do much to protect or improve my RV like I had hoped. The discoloration under the propane heater vent and the oxidation on the graphics were still there, so I'm wondering if the whole thing was even worth it. Overall, the clear coat service at Camping World was a big disappointment and definitely not worth the $2600 I paid.
