Finally got closure — after a lot of teeth-grinding
Finally got closure — after a lot of teeth-grinding
Returns & Refundsthe day the refund hit my account. Before that, it was a mess — a few weeks of phone loops, being bounced between Amazon.ca, Amazon UK, and my bank, and honestly a pile of stress I didn’t need. I’d signed up for Prime because I’d just moved houses and my back was giving me grief; I needed quick deliveries for basics and to avoid lugging boxes up and down stairs. So Prime wasn’t a luxury, it was practical. I shopped there a lot, didn’t check every tiny charge, and that’s how this dragged on for months without me noticing right away.
double charged, refunded on a gift card
double charged, refunded on a gift card
Returns & RefundsWow, that was a real surprise! I was so surprised when I found out I was charged double for the same thing, and then one of the charges ended up on a gift card without my say-so. Dealing with their customer service was a total nightmare - the reps just kept giving me the runaround with those generic responses. I really felt like they were trying to take advantage of me and not taking my concerns seriously. It's really disappointing to see a company stoop to such sneaky practices.
