Photo prints and photo books
I've been a customer with this company since the early 2000s, and for the most part, I've been pretty happy with the service. But, my recent experience was a total letdown. I ordered some photo prints and books, and it turns out that over 5000 of my photos went missing and can't be recovered. It's just not right. And to make matters worse, they only offered me a $20 gift certificate as a way to make up for it. That's ridiculous. Plus, nobody even bothered to get in touch with me to explain what went wrong. It's really disappointing. I suggest making sure you back up all your photos elsewhere or invest in digital storage so you don't end up feeling like I do right now.
Travel photo book
I recently bought a travel photo book online and put a lot of effort into editing it just right. I made sure there were no mistakes and that the font was consistent all the way through. But when I got the finished book, I was super let down. The first page had a big typo - "NEW DELHI" was spelled correctly at the top, but was messed up as "N2w Deli" at the bottom in two different fonts. And then there was a page that was supposed to show the different ways of getting around on the trip - "Planes, Trains, Boats, and Bikes." But instead, it said "PLAINS." What a disaster! It totally ruined the gift I spent so much time making. I felt pretty embarrassed and disappointed with the lousy quality of the final product.
Too many ads
The product was okay, but honestly, I kept getting bombarded with ads every single day. I tried unsubscribing, but those ads just kept coming and it was driving me crazy!
Prints order issues
Don't bother ordering prints from here! The app doesn't keep track of the prints you choose, so you have to remember them yourself. I had to reorder multiple times to get my order right, and the shipping is really slow. I won't be returning.
Photobook order delay
I ordered a photobook not long ago but it's taking forever to show up! The tracking just kept saying 'Waiting for UPS pickup' for a whole week. When I reached out to customer service through the online chat, all they said was to give it one more week. Waiting for two whole weeks was super annoying, especially since I could have just printed the photobook here and had it right away.
Printing pictures
The colors are always weird, and you can't even print cards in the right size. Also, the way you use it is just so frustrating. They should really make it easier for people to customize their prints.
Ordered printed plates
I got some plates printed, and two arrived broken, just like my mom's fave vase. When I asked them to fix it, it was a real headache, like trying to solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded. It was a disaster, like when my dog got into the trash and scattered it all over the yard. I'd warn my BFF to steer clear of this company, just like I steer clear of broccoli at dinner.
Photo book creation
Messing around with Shutterfly’s AI is like jumping into a pool of creativity. It's so easy to use, it's like it knows exactly what I'm thinking and bam - my ideas come to life in no time. There are so many choices, the colours are so bright, and the end result always blows me away. I'm excited to see what else this AI can do, but for now, I'm super happy with what I've made. I would totally suggest it to anyone wanting to show off their artistic flair.
I made so many projects over the years
I made so much cool stuff on this site! I made all sorts of photo books and they always turn out amazing. The customer service is top-notch, and they always help me out when I mess up. Just make sure to use good quality photos, otherwise your projects won't look as good. Start early so you can get your stuff on time!
Incorrect order received
I had such a terrible experience with this company. They totally messed up my order and when I tried to get it sorted out, they just kept making excuses. I definitely won't be using their service again and I suggest others to be careful too.
Photo book creation
I just ordered a photo book for my mom's birthday from this company, and I have to tell you, I was super bummed with how it turned out. I spent a lot of time picking out the perfect family photos from over the years, but when I got the final product, it was a total letdown. The photos I uploaded were supposed to be high-quality shots from my Sony A7iv camera, but they came out all fuzzy and not so great. I even tried to fix things by making the book smaller and going with a soft cover to save money, but the image quality still stunk.
Holiday card order
I just ordered some Holiday cards from this company, thinking they would arrive on time for the festive season. But no luck - even with expedited shipping, the cards showed up five days late. I was super bummed about the bad service and lack of customer care. It's pretty clear that all they care about is making money, not keeping customers happy. I definitely won't be giving them my business again.
Prints and one magnet order
I've been waiting for my prints and magnet order from Shutterfly, and it's been pretty frustrating, eh. I placed my order two weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. The waiting time is just not cool, and I'm kinda bummed that they haven't kept me in the loop about what's going on. I thought a big company like Shutterfly would have better service, but I guess not.
Photo album purchase
I've been a loyal customer for a while now, but my recent experience was a total letdown, eh. I was putting together a photo album of our jam-packed year, and then I find out I hit the photo limit for the album. Total bummer, eh! Customer service backed up the limit and even suggested I delete some photos to make room for more. Like, seriously? I included those photos because they mean something to me. Needless to say, I'm not going to use this service again.
Late Christmas card Delivery
I recently bought some Christmas cards but I was pretty disappointed with the late delivery. I ordered them on December 1st, but they didn't actually get shipped out until December 6th, which caused a lot of unnecessary stress and worry. The tracking numbers they gave me were pretty much useless because they didn't give me any real info on where the cards were at. This whole situation has kind of put a damper on our Christmas card plans, and we're really hoping they show up on time. We've had good experiences with this company in the past, but it seems like maybe there's been some changes in management that have affected the quality of service. Because of this letdown, we've made the decision not to order from them again and we'll be sure to warn others to steer clear too.
Gift card issue
I just bought a gift card from this company and had a big problem trying to use it. When I tried to see the number on the card, the paper ripped off and took the number with it, so now it's no good. I contacted customer service and sent them pictures of the messed up card, but they couldn't help me at all. It really sucks that I'm out 50 bucks because of a badly made gift card. I thought a good company like this would have better quality and service.
Late Holiday Order
I ordered some holiday cards and an ornament for my granddaughter on December 1st, eh. It's already December 23rd and I still haven't received them. I've been trying to get a hold of customer service, but all I've been told is that they're on their way with no clue when they'll actually get here. I've been a loyal customer since 2009, and I've always loved using this service. But ever since the company was taken over by a bigger company, the quality of service has really gone down. I'm starting to worry about what will happen to my photos and projects in the future, especially if they keep shutting down more sites.
Recent book orders
I've been a loyal customer at (brand) for a long time now and have always loved the photo books I've ordered in the past. But lately, I've been pretty disappointed with my recent orders. The last few books I got were printed off-center vertically, so the text at the bottom of the pages got cut off. On top of that, there were these thin white lines at the top of each page, and the pages looked all frayed like they were badly cut. And the lack of mid-tones in the printing made the images seem flat, with details in the darker areas totally disappearing. Even a stunning photo on the cover of one of my books lost its beauty on the inside page, which drove me nuts. Overall, my recent experience with (brand) has been anything but satisfying.
Photo book with poor quality images
The photo book I ordered from this company was a major letdown, eh? The pictures turned out all blurry and pixelated, like they went through some sort of printing disaster that made them lose quality, you know? Even though they offered to redo the book for free, I wasn't keen on getting another crummy copy. Their supposed "100% satisfaction guarantee" didn't hold up, and it looks like there's a problem with how they make their books that makes the images look bad. After putting in hours of work to put together my book just right, I was really disappointed by how it turned out, eh.

The app was so frustrating to use, eh. It wouldn't let me finish my purchase and customer service was no help, even after trying multiple times to get in touch with them. And to top it all off, all my hard work on my project was deleted. This whole thing has totally put me off from using this service again.
