they read more like ACSM-style questions, and the answer choices are weird — you get a lot of "a and b" options or those "which of the following should GFIs not do" prompts. At first I was annoyed because I expected straight ACE prep. But after a few runs I kinda appreciated the odd structure: it forces you to slow down, think through scenarios, and it exposed gaps I hadn't noticed. The interface is simple, clicks through quick, and I was surprised how much it sharpened my timing. Not perfect, but useful as supplement.

I was honestly pretty unsure before buying — failed once before even though I read books and made my own cards. I didn’t want another half-useful resource. I ended up getting the practice exam pack and started with the versions that explain each answer, then switched to the timed ones and ran them again and again until the patterns stuck. On test day a lot of the formats looked familiar and I didn’t blank like before. It calmed me down. Small victory, really. If you’re hesitating, my advice is pick one solid set and drill it, don’t scatter your study. I’m already back at it for a second cert and this time I grabbed the bundle with flash cards.

I went ahead and grabbed a whole bunch of practice questions, worked through them, and finally aced my exam and the boards!

I usually don't write reviews, but I just had to let you all know about my experience with this study guide. I bought it before my Nasm afaa personal training exam and I have to say, it was a total waste of my time and money. None of the questions on the real exam were related to the stuff in this guide. I recently bought a pack of 10 test prep materials for the CCI boards. I ended up using 6 of the tests before I actually wrote the exam, and I'm happy to say that I passed and I'm now a certified RCS. Even though I've studied and been to seminars before, these tests really helped me understand the concepts I was struggling with. I'm planning on completing the rest of the tests and taking notes to improve my knowledge even more. The practice tests from Exam Edge weren't that great for getting ready for my exam. I felt like the questions didn't really match up with what was on the actual test, and I only ended up recognizing a few of them. I'd recommend checking out the official practice exams on the MTTC website instead.

I recently bought a set of Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) practice exams from a test prep website. I was pretty pumped to start studying and getting ready for my certification, but I ran into a bunch of issues with the practice exams. First off, lots of the questions seemed off-topic. Some questions were worded so badly that I wondered if they were just there to beef up the number of questions in the exam bank. And I realized that a bunch of questions were repeated across different exams. Instead of a unique set of 1000 questions, I think about 100-200 questions were duplicates from other exams. This repetition made the study material less useful and effective for me. I also saw some misspelled words in the exams, which made me doubt the content's quality. Plus, the explanations for the answers were poorly done and didn't really help me understand why an answer was right or wrong. Despite these issues, I gotta give props to the customer service team for being quick to respond to my concerns. But overall, the practice exams themselves didn't cut it for me and didn't live up to the study material I was hoping for.
