Online hotel reservation experience
I just went through this online hotel booking situation that really ticked me off. The refund rules on the booking site were so confusing, I felt like I had zero say in my own reservation. When I tried to cancel because of some unexpected stuff, I was floored to hear I might not get my money back and could even get slapped with a fee for cancelling. The unclear refund policy has me thinking twice about using that service again.
Hotel reservation
I tried to book a hotel for our family vacation and it was a complete disaster. The customer service was awful, they couldn't assist me at all! They didn't even bother to correct their mistakes. I definitely won't be using them again.
Medical appointment room booking
I just booked a room way ahead of time for my granddaughter's medical appointment. The tricky part was, I booked it through some third-party site without even knowing. When the appointment got moved to two weeks later, I phoned to switch up the reservation. Turns out, they wanted me to pay all over again for a brand new booking. It was so irritating, especially since the appointment wasn't until April and it was only February. I just wanted to change the date, not get a refund. Customer service was lacking, and the whole thing felt sketchy. Well, now I know better for next time.
