I had a bad experience with that company recently. I couldn't change or cancel a reservation I made for a visiting instructor, even though my email said I could. The person I spoke to on the phone said it was confusing, and it seems like that's a common problem. It was really annoying dealing with a company that seemed shady.

They were super sneaky! Turns out my reservation was for an extra day and when I wanted to change it, they wouldn't budge. My confirmation email clearly said I could cancel, but they just wouldn't allow it! Lesson learned - next time I'll be double-checking Google before booking.

I'm never using this site again, eh. I called to just make a simple change to my reservation, but nope, they wouldn't budge with their no-change policy. And on top of that, they had this non-refundable policy too, eh. I goofed up my reservation less than 6 hours after booking it for a stay in 6 weeks, and they wouldn't give me a hand. So, I ended up booking another room through a different site, which was cheaper in Canadian dollars and didn't need any upfront payment. Take off, eh!

I just booked a room way ahead of time for my granddaughter's medical appointment. The tricky part was, I booked it through some third-party site without even knowing. When the appointment got moved to two weeks later, I phoned to switch up the reservation. Turns out, they wanted me to pay all over again for a brand new booking. It was so irritating, especially since the appointment wasn't until April and it was only February. I just wanted to change the date, not get a refund. Customer service was lacking, and the whole thing felt sketchy. Well, now I know better for next time.
