Asia hotel booking
Asia hotel booking
On-siteI booked this hotel in Asia on Agoda 'cause it looked amazing online. But when we arrived, it was a complete disaster! They were renovating the place, no chance we could stay. We had to scramble to find another hotel at the last minute, super stressful. I explained everything to Agoda, and they said, "Sure, just send us the bill for the new place and we'll look into a refund." But then they kept transferring me to different departments, Booking.com, Agoda, back to Agoda. It was beyond annoying and I still haven't gotten my money back. So frustrated!
Online hotel booking
Online hotel booking
BookingMy experience with this online hotel booking platform was pretty disappointing, eh. After I confirmed my booking, I kept getting emails asking for card updates, even though I had already done it. In the end, they canceled my booking and blamed me and the hotel. When I reached out to customer service for help, they just blamed me again, eh. Overall, I'd say this platform is super unreliable and I'd advise others to be cautious, eh.
Booking for a room
Booking for a room
OverallSo, I booked a room on this site and let me tell you, it wasn't the greatest. The room I ended up with was so noisy, like not ideal at all. I made sure to include that in my review. Plus, turns out I paid 50€ more booking on this site than I would have on another one for the same room - what a bummer, right? And to top it off, they tried to bury my review just because it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine. Like, come on, all I wanted to do was share my honest experience!
Hotel reservation in Da Nang
Hotel reservation in Da Nang
PriceSo, y'know, I reserved a hotel in Da Nang for 40 loonies, but then Agoda ended up charging me 40 bucks in American dollars, which is totally not cool! Like, seriously, what's up with that? And now I'm trying to figure out how Visa can hook me up and get my money back. Ugh, frustrating!
Booked hotel stay
Booked hotel stay
PriceSo, buddy, I snagged a hotel stay through Agoda, eh? Let me tell ya, it was a total rip-off, man. They gouge ya way harder than if you just go direct with the hotel. What's their deal, eh? And they don't even cover all the taxes like they claim on their site. It's like a total fib. Do yourself a solid and just book straight with the hotel, alright?
Hotel booking experience
Hotel booking experience
PriceI gotta admit, I was a bit skeptical about this website at first because I heard some not-so-great reviews, but I figured, why not give it a try? And boy, was I pleasantly surprised! The prices were way better than other big booking sites, and I even got a sweeter deal than if I had booked directly with the hotel. Everything went super smoothly and I didn't run into any problems at all while booking. I'll definitely be coming back to this site the next time I need to book a hotel.
