Friend's tip went sideways

Friend sent link — said free, got charged; surprisingly refunded.

Wasn't sure, then it worked

Friend showed me — actually worked, eh

Hooked pretty quick

Right after my first export last winter I knew — Wondershare made editing easy, kind of fun and dependable.

Worth the worry

I hesitated 'cause of my bad back during the move, but doubts vanished — it helped, quick delivery.

Not what I hoped

I was skeptical about their big '7-day money back' line, and that doubt turned out real. Used app under an hour, didn't suit me, asked for a refund and got nowhere. Heads up.

Rough start, smooth finish

Needed something simple after a messy old editor; Filmora felt iffy at first, timeline is clean, now I'm happy.

Pleasant little surprise

I actually stumbled on it in a friend's kitchen — she showed me the app and I gave it a spin. Feels surprisingly smooth, controls are simple, colours look right on my laptop and it didn't bog down my system. Happy I tried it, would recommend.

Not what I hoped for

Surprisingly, saw this on a tech forum and a buddy told me to try it, so I downloaded it to salvage photos from an SD card. It showed "recovered" files, which gave hope, but many wouldn’t open and their refund was denied — kinda annoying, but it tried.

Surprising charge, fixed

Overall, happy — it worked out. At first I was sceptical; got charged for a subscription I never used. I first saw it on a coworker’s laptop and recommended it. Support was slow but refunded me.

Sneaky billing, usable app

I needed a quick video editor for a move (and yes, I was stressed). The price looked like a one‑year deal but then started charging monthly — annoying and sneaky. Had to contact support, they refunded part but it took time. Weirdly, the software itself did a good job, no crashes, so mixed feelings.

Odd first impression

I first saw it because a coworker waved it at me and said 'try this', so I did. The homepage looked sketchy and I backed out, but the software itself is surprisingly smooth and simple to use — like it just sits there and works. I freaked about billing at first, but support helped and I'm glad I gave it another shot.

Late-night win

Used it for the first time last week, late night while drinking coffee, and my first impression was, uh, messy — kept asking me to restart my phone. I fiddled, thinned patience, called support a couple times. Not perfect. Then one morning it just synced and stayed. I actually smiled. Little quirks remain, but it does the job for sure.

Three purchases, one headache

I bought three different Wondershare tools 'cause I thought they'd help with quick edits at home for school stuff. Big regret — the apps were buggy, the AI bits drained credits I didn't know about, and that annoyed me the most. Support took forever and never fixed anything, so I ended up doing workarounds. It's usable if you only need basics, but I expected more value.

That small moment of relief

I remember the exact moment I knew I was satisfied — I’d cancelled the subscription and braced for trouble, but nothing weird happened. No surprise charges, card stayed untouched, and a real person replied to my message within a day. It felt like someone actually cared, and they even let me remove my payment info without drama. Kinda relieved, honestly. If you’re cautious, give support a quick call first — they’re mellow and helpful. Glad it ended cleanly, saved me the hassle for good.

Trial turned into a year

It caught me off guard one morning when I noticed an annual charge instead of the cheap 7‑day trial I thought I signed up for. The app itself works fine — snag-free, looks decent — and I only used it two days. But the sign-up flow quietly locked me into a non‑cancellable yearly plan and only let me cancel the visible trial. I emailed support on Sept 17, explained the mix‑up, asked for a refund and they refused. Mildly annoyed, but at least I spotted it fast.

Almost got burned

I saw this in a promoted clip and a friend had suggested it, so I bit — after hesitating because it looked cheap and the reviews were mixed, but the interface looked decent. I needed to move iPhone data to Android urgently so I downloaded MobileTrans. It just wouldn't finish the transfer after several tries. I opened a support ticket, uploaded screenshots and logs they asked for, then they told me to reinstall (which I did, twice). Still nothing. Meanwhile I paid for a different tool that worked on the first try (annoying). I asked for a refund since it was a technical fail, but the response was slow and not helpful. I expected better; feel wary now, honestly.

Mixed but solid

the UI gets cluttered and once in a while a convert stalls. Still, it surprised me with fast, clean output more times than I expected, so I'll stick around.

Half a promise

the editor itself runs fine, exports okay and is actually decent for simple cuts, but basically everything flashy is locked. Most effects, transitions and even decent music sit behind Filmstock Premium, and you still need to buy AI credits for stuff like speech-to-text. Felt a bit bait-and-switchy, honestly. After a day I was sceptical, but then I used it for a small project and it did the job, so I’m torn. Bottom line: useful as a basic editor, frustrating if you expected the whole kit.

Misleading trial, decent look

I clicked the ‘free trial’ late one night because the ad made it seem like the whole editor was covered. The trial turned out to be for assets only, and I bought a yearly sub by mistake. I cancelled right away — didn't even open the project — and appealed twice with clear reasons. Their policy even says wrong purchases can be refunded if unused, but support just wouldn't budge. The software itself looked slick, I was excited, but the customer service left a sour taste, so I won't keep it.

Sketchy billing, partial refund

on a fresh visit you see a "monthly" price, but without cookies or on a different screen the annual charge appears later — feels sneaky and borders on drip pricing. I’ve got screenshots and tested it myself; it reads wrong. If you try them, document everything and don’t assume a monthly option is actually offered. I’m mildly relieved they offered a partial fix, but still annoyed. Hope they sort it properly soon; others shouldn't be surprised.
