Expensive insurance charges
I was really let down by the service I got at Bright Side. They charged me nearly $1600 in less than 2 months, all through insurance. It just wasn't worth it and I'd suggest folks find a different option for their insurance. The prices were way too high and the service was not up to par. All in all, a frustrating experience that made me feel like I was being ripped off.
Prescription Medication
This place is really messing up when it comes to medications. I tried to be patient, but the billing was totally messed up. The first session was just so cold and impersonal, but that's not even the worst part. They gave me two doses of medication that don't even work well together, which is not good at all. And now I've been without my meds for more than a month because of their system errors. And their solution? Pay for another session to fix their own mistake. And don't even get me started on that mental health questionnaire they gave me - it's impossible to answer truthfully. I've had it with this place and I'm gonna find a new provider right away.
Overpriced decorations
Don't bother spending your hard-earned cash on those outrageously expensive decorations. They're really not worth it - the quality is crap and their customer service is non-existent. I tried to get some help from them but couldn't reach anyone. Honestly, this company is a real joke. Stay away from them no matter what.
Counseling services covered by insurance
I wasn't sure about trying online counseling at first, but Bright Side really impressed me. It's so nice to be able to talk to a professional right from my own home. The counselors were super helpful, understanding, and gave me some really useful perspectives that I hadn't thought about. I'm really grateful for the help Bright Side has given me.
Signed up for help with anxiety
I signed up for help with my anxiety 'cause I've been stressed out about money stuff. I had this appointment with an online therapist all set up. But on the morning of the appointment, something came up and I had to change the time. Thing is, they still charged me $70 for missing it, even after I rescheduled. They say you gotta cancel 24 hours in advance, but I couldn't find that rule anywhere. Now I'm even more nervous about money and my insurance won't cover it. Seventy bucks is a lot, especially at this time!
Anxiety relief products
I gotta say, my experience with Bright Side's anxiety relief products wasn't the greatest. The staff just didn't seem to get where I was coming from, you know? They gave me some medication that didn't do diddly squat for me. It felt like they were in a rush and didn't really listen to what I had to say. Overall, it left me feeling like it was all about making a quick buck instead of actually helping people dealing with anxiety.
Awful therapy experience
Don't bother spending your money at that place. My experience at that therapy service was absolutely awful. They didn't give me the help and support I needed, and I actually felt worse when I left. It's obvious that the staff there have no clue what they're doing. I had to get help somewhere else and thankfully found relief with another therapist. I want my money back in full, plus compensation for the trouble and harm they caused.
Subscription, Payment, Lack of Communication
I can't believe how bold this company is. I canceled my subscription, but they kept taking my money without asking me. I tried calling them, but couldn't get through to anyone. I sent them lots of messages, but never heard back. There wasn't even a way to cancel on their website. This isn't right and I'm not going to just ignore it. I'm going to contact my bank because this is just straight up fraud.
Counseling experience
After giving the counseling service a shot for around a month, I gotta say it wasn't all that great. The counselors and doctors seemed kinda rude and were quick to blame me, which just made me feel even worse each time. Their dismissive attitude and way of speaking didn't make me feel any better. It felt like they were just after my money, and I always left feeling even sadder. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience, so I wouldn't suggest it to anyone else looking for help.
Therapy experience
My time at Bright Side has been a real up-and-down journey, let me tell you. The therapists there are amazing, offering me all the help and advice I need. But, gotta say, the nurse practitioners let me down big time. They fed me wrong info about treating ADHD, and the meds they gave me just messed me up. Plus, having a new nurse every time made it hard to stick to one treatment plan. And don't even get me started on how they don't take most insurances - that just added to my stress with their service.
Therapist review
My therapist is incredible! She's my second therapist from this place, and let me tell you, the first one was a total airhead. I started seeing her because she was covered by my insurance and the prices looked good on my plan. But guess what? They tried to charge me way more than they said they would! Like, no way am I paying that much for therapy. It's a major rip off. So not cool.
Monthly Billing Issue
This company has been overcharging me for months without giving me any services. Every time I try to talk to them over the phone about it, they just send me generic emails instead of resolving the issue. The customer service is terrible and there is no transparency. I haven't gotten the care or prescriptions I need and I'm getting really frustrated with their unfair billing practices. It's disappointing how they treat loyal customers like this, exploiting people who rely on healthcare services.
Misleading insurance claims
I recently signed up for therapy at this place, eh, believing that they accepted my insurance as stated on their website, you know? But after starting my treatment and being put on medication, I was suddenly informed that they do not actually accept my insurance, eh. This caused unnecessary stress and financial strain on my end, as I am not able to afford therapy out-of-pocket, you know. It is unacceptable for a business to mislead customers in such a crucial matter, eh. I have filed complaints regarding this issue and urge others to be cautious when dealing with this place, eh.
Appointment with Paul Kariuki
Paul Kariuki is terrible! I went to him for my symptoms and he didn't even make an effort to help me out. He said they don't deal with panic disorders, even though their website says they do. He didn't show any interest in my past medications and didn't even try to help me. It was a waste of money and time.
booking technical issues
This is hilarious! I had some problems with the booking website, ended up with a "no-show" charge, and when I showed them screenshots with timestamps, they said it might have been messed with. Are you kidding me? So their site is perfect and never has glitches? It's so wrong to doubt customers like that, blaming them when it's the site's fault. When I asked for help, their system was offline and they couldn't see my info, but they still want to charge me for their mistakes. Give me a break! Better to look for mental health services somewhere else.
Counseling sessions
I had some counseling sessions with this company and it was really disappointing. The nurse practitioners I talked to weren't very helpful and couldn't offer much more support than a therapist could. It felt like a waste of time and I wouldn't suggest their services to anyone who needs real help. The nurse practitioners I spoke with didn't seem to communicate well in English and didn't have much to offer besides simple advice.
Prescription experience
They totally left me feeling way worse than when I first came in. After a quick chat, they gave me some meds that just made me feel even more down. And on top of all that, they slapped me with a bill for over $150. Such a rip-off!
Counselling session
I recently booked a counselling session through this platform and was extremely disappointed with the experience. Not only did they charge me for services that were not provided, but the customer service was unhelpful and took forever to respond to my complaints. The therapist I was assigned to was unprofessional, cursing throughout our session, and appeared to lack basic cognitive abilities. Overall, my experience was extremely negative and I will not be using this platform again.
medication refill
I just wanted to share that my experience with that online pharmacy was really disappointing. Even though I really needed some help, Brightside wasn't helpful or understanding at all. It seems like they care more about making money than actually helping their customers. If anyone is looking for support, I suggest checking out other options and local resources that might be more caring and genuine.
Medication management services
I had a really bad experience with this company that provides medication management services. They kept charging me even though they weren't actually giving me any services. At first, they said I had to pay extra to switch to a new provider, which I thought was unfair. Even when I tried to cancel, they still charged me for another month without helping me with any prescriptions. It's not right how they take advantage of people who are just looking for some help. I did get a refund for one month, but then they charged me again the next month without doing anything more. I've given up trying to fix this and just have to accept the loss. I hope others learn from my experience and think twice before using Brightside Health's services.

Terrible billing practices
This company is such a scam! They charge way too much for things they don't even do and keep taking your money even when you want to stop. It's like they target folks ... Read onBy: Schroeder
