Industry-leading software
I've been using this software for more than 20 years and I can honestly say it's one of the best out there. Sure, there's been some complaints about the pricing, but in my opinion, the quality and reliability of the software totally make it worth it. The support forums provided by the company are awesome and have always been super helpful whenever I've run into any problems. If you need help, I definitely recommend checking out the community website for some great resources and support. Compared to other companies like Adobe, I think the level of service this company provides is unbeatable. Some people might argue about the price, but I personally think the value and features of this software make it totally worth the investment.
Pro Tools compatibility issue
I just updated to OS Catalina, but now Pro Tools doesn't work. I tried reaching out to customer support for help, but no luck even after paying to file a query. I'm pretty let down by the lack of response and overall customer service from the company. I'm considering switching to a different software because of this frustrating experience.
Software purchase for music composition
The software is really powerful and handy when it works well. But boy, it can be a real pain getting it to start up smoothly all the time. The customer service team is quick to respond and helps out through email, but man, it's frustrating that the software keeps failing to boot after working fine for a month. Despite that headache, I think the software is super helpful for making music. It's not perfect, but it still does a decent job, especially for learning purposes. I'd say give this software a shot for what it can do, just be ready to keep dealing with that booting problem.
Sibelius music writing program
I just bought the Sibelius music program online and boy, was I let down. I downloaded it but never got the ID key to actually use it. The so-called 'help' videos were no help at all, and the bot responses to my questions were useless. I wasted 4 hours trying everything to get it to work, and got nowhere. It was so frustrating, I think Sibelius should look for another company to handle their digital stuff.
Dismay at lack of Apple M1 support
I'm really bummed about how your software, like Pro Tools, doesn't fully support Apple silicon yet. It's been two years since Apple M1 came out, and I still can't use a bunch of my go-to plugins, especially the ones from Acustica. I just renewed my subscription for another year hoping for m1 support, but it seems like there's been no progress at all.
And now, you're changing all the names again instead of focusing on getting your software up to date and working well. If you don't fix this problem soon, you might lose a longtime customer like me. The negative reviews on your website show that a lot of users are feeling pretty unhappy too.Pro Tools Software Purchase
I recently bought Pro Tools software and man, what a mistake that was. This company, despite its industry rep, has gotta be the worst in the audio biz. Pro Tools may be the go-to in a lot of music studios, but their customer service is just terrible. They won't talk to you unless you've bought something recently and are still eligible for support. And even then, it takes them forever to get back to you. I'd recommend steering clear of this company and checking out other options like Reaper, Ableton, or Logic.
Annual unauthorized subscription
I just found out that there's this yearly subscription on my bank account that I didn't even know about, and it's over $300! I never signed up for this with the company. I wasted two whole hours trying to find a phone number to talk to someone at customer service about this billing problem. But all I could find were these chatbots and online forms, no real person to chat with. I don't know what to do next to fix this, so any ideas on how to move forward would be really helpful. Thanks.
Recent software purchase
The software I got from this company has been nothing but a pain. It keeps logging me out and won't remember my password, so it's hard to use. I even missed work today because I got kicked out of my account. For a company that says they provide top-notch tools, these technical problems are just so irritating and not okay.
Monthly subscription purchase
I signed up for a monthly subscription with this company, but I was really let down by their customer service. It took three whole days for them to get back to me about a tech problem, and when they did, I was stuck waiting on hold for an hour. On top of that, the program itself had a bunch of issues that made it a pain to use. All in all, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with this company.
Music distributor comparison
As a musician, it's super important to find the right music distributor to make sure my music gets out to my fans in the best way. But sadly, the one I used recently just didn't cut it for me. The platform was a pain to use, hard to upload my music and keep my account in check. And don't even get me started on the payment system – had some issues getting my earnings. Compared to my experience with Distrokid, it's like night and day. Distrokid is definitely the way to go for musicians who want to get their music out there smoothly. I've made the switch and will definitely be telling my fellow musicians about Distrokid.
Recent software purchase
I bought some software not too long ago and let me tell you, the customer service was a total flop. It took forever to get help and it seemed like they wanted me to figure it out all on my own. Like, shouldn't they be helping me out here? I was pretty bummed to see how disorganized and uncaring they were towards us customers. In the end, all I got was frustration and disappointment from the whole ordeal.
Software Support Purchase
While Avid's software support costs $200 a year, the actual help you get isn't that great. The software crashes a lot, so it's annoying and unreliable to use. Also, it seems like Avid treats some customers better than others, which is disrespectful. Even though it's pricey, Avid's software doesn't deliver on reliability or customer satisfaction. I've put time and effort into using this software, and I'm upset with the lack of support and respect from Avid.
