Great trunks, awkward service

the staff person who served us seemed checked out, a bit cold and rushed - that stuck with me. Price is on the higher side but I figure it's worth it for the fabric and fit. Would go back for the stuff, but maybe avoid that particular moment - overall happy and slightly amused by the whole thing.

I was on the ferry home from a quick London trip when I tried the trunks and realized they were too big. I’d bought them at a store in Burlington Arcade and left them untouched — tags and the security tab still there — so I expected a simple exchange. Problem was, I don’t live in London and by the time I returned I was just past their 30‑day return window. The shop refused an exchange and I was pretty skeptical about the whole brand after that. I contacted customer service, didn’t hear back at first, then followed up and they eventually agreed to send a replacement and covered the return postage. The moment I knew I was satisfied was when the new pair arrived and actually fit — snug where it should, comfortable in the water, and solid enough for daily lap swims and weekend beach runs. Annoying process, but the fix made it worth sticking with them.

same soft, lightweight fabric I liked (nice cut for hot days, quick dry enough for beach use), so at first I thought maybe it was salt or sand. After a couple of wears it was obvious it wasn’t just wear-and-tear. I sent photos to customer support the minute we got home and included a full description. The first reply was polite, but then it went quiet and it took about eleven days before they told me to bring the shorts into a store for inspection. I did that, left them there, waited, and had to nudge them a few times because they promised a callback that didn’t happen. Frustrating — the whole “maybe you used sunscreen” line felt like a dodge (we were on a sunny vacation, I don’t smear the shorts in sunscreen, come on). Anyway, after more chasing and a weird mix-up with contact info (they actually messaged on WhatsApp eventually), I got the shorts back. Not perfect, but the turning point was when a manager agreed to exchange them — no fanfare, just “we’ll sort it” — and the replacement pair actually matches the fabric and colour quality I remember. So yeah, skeptical at first and annoyed with the process, but the shorts themselves wear great and the final outcome was alright. Would have preferred faster, cleaner service and an apology, but at least I’m not stuck with a ruined pair anymore. Small improvements on communication would make this a lot better though.

My partner and I bought a bikini from this company for her vacation last July. Unfortunately, the colors faded after just a week of wearing it. We've been trying to get a refund or replacement for the past 4 months with no luck. The customer service has been really bad, they keep asking for proof of purchase and then say they can't find the transaction even after showing evidence from my bank statement. They told us to go back to the store where we bought it, so we had to drive 300 miles to Bicester, only to deal with unhelpful and rude staff who weren't informed about the issue. This lack of responsibility and poor treatment of customers is not okay.

I bought these really awesome swim trunks but the customer service sucks! They never email me back and it bums me out because their swim shorts are so good. Please improve your service, it's not cool.

Shopper bag with turtle design

I just bought a cute shopper bag with turtles on it from a store in Marbella. When I asked about the price, they said it was €210. I was really excited at first, but then I decided to take off the turtle things and just get the bag. But the salesperson was kind of rude and snobby, which was a bummer. I didn't have enough time to ask for a refund and get my money back on my card before leaving.
