Wrong product received
The cleats I ordered aren't the ones I got. I contacted customer service to return them and I'm still waiting for shipping details. I'd really appreciate it if someone could speed things up and help me sort this out ASAP.
Simms Rogue Jacket
I recently bought a Simms Rogue jacket from this company because I couldn't find it in Ireland/Europe. I stumbled upon this company and thought I'd give it a shot. It was easy to order and I got my jacket in 12 days, not bad since it came all the way from the USA. I had to contact customer service about shipping and they were really helpful and quick. It seems like they might work fewer days, probably off fishing, but that's cool. All in all, I'm really happy with the service and the jacket's quality. I'll definitely be back for more.
New rod & reel purchase
I was kinda unsure about buying a new fishing rod and reel, wasn't really sure if I was getting a good deal or if I was even picking the right gear for my level of experience. But then I talked to Ben at the shop, and he really helped me out. He knew exactly what to ask to figure out what I needed and suggested the perfect gear for me. He didn't just give me advice, but he also took the time to explain why certain gear would be best for me. I left feeling good about my purchase and ready to get out on the water.
Fly tying materials purchased
I just bought some fly tying materials from this online store. It took over a week for my order to show up, which was a bummer. Plus, I wasn't too happy about having to download an app on my phone just to track my shipment. It was a hassle and seemed kinda pointless. From now on, I'll probably just go back to my usual places when I need to order fly fishing stuff.
Online fly fishing gear purchase
I was really looking forward to getting my online fly fishing gear, but I ended up pretty disappointed with the company's lack of communication and customer service. After waiting three days with no updates on my order, I finally decided to send an email asking about when it would be shipped. But even after six days passed, I still didn't hear back or get any shipping or tracking info like they promised. I was so frustrated by the lack of communication that I asked to cancel my order and wanted confirmation. The response I got was not helpful at all and didn't give me any useful info, which just made me even more dissatisfied. Even after following up with another request for a cancellation confirmation, I still haven't heard back. All in all, my experience with this company has been really disappointing, and I thought their behavior was unprofessional and neglectful.
Fly fishing rod
I've had pretty good experiences with this company for the most part, but one thing that really bugs me is how slow their shipping is. If you order something on a Friday, or sometimes even a Thursday, don't count on getting it right away. It usually doesn't ship until Monday at the earliest. Nowadays, everybody's used to getting things quickly, so I think they really need to work on speeding things up. Some folks might not care, but it bothers me.
Bamboo rod fly line inquiry
I contacted customer service the other day to ask about getting fly line for my 5wt bamboo rod. The person I talked to didn't seem to know much about classic rods, because they didn't even know my rod was a bamboo Orvis Battenkill. It was pretty frustrating to see that kind of lack of knowledge in a fly fishing company.
