Furniture set
CommunicationI recently bought a furniture set from this online store, and, to be honest, it was not a great experience. I placed my order, paid for it, and then nothing. No updates, no info on when my order would arrive. I tried reaching out to customer service through email a few times, but no response. It's really frustrating and I feel let down by how unprofessional they've been. As a customer, I think it's important to keep us in the loop about our orders, but this company just left me in the dark. On top of that, I can't even leave a review on their website, so it's like they don't even care what I think. My overall impression of this company is pretty bad, and I'd advise others to steer clear until they step up their customer service game.
About Overstock
Overstock.com, Inc. is an American internet retailer headquartered in Midvale, Utah, near Salt Lake City. It was originally founded in 1999 by Robert Brazell as D2: Discounts Direct, and later led by Patrick M. Byrne, who took over in 1999. Overstock initially sold exclusively surplus and returned merchandise on an online e-commerce marketplace, offering customers discounted prices on a variety of products. Over time, it expanded its inventory to include new merchandise across a wide range of categories including furniture, decor, rugs, bedding, home improvement, and more. The company underwent a rebranding in 2011 to emphasize its transition from a liquidator to a retail company, focusing more on new merchandise and expanding into international markets. Additionally, Overstock has been a pioneer in embracing technology and cryptocurrency, even developing a blockchain subsidiary, tZERO, to explore and innovate within the blockchain technology space.
