Not getting my order when I paid for it
So I ordered something and paid with my piggy bank money, and then they said they didn't get my money but I totally have proof that I paid! It's like they don't believe me or something, so now I'm sad and still don't have my stuff.
Phone repair
I've been a loyal customer for so many years, but lately, the quality of both the product and service has let me down. My phone keeps getting that annoying green line and even after a few visits to the service center, the issue still hasn't been fixed. On top of that, other apps are acting up and the back cover is starting to come off. It's a real pain to get the phone fixed because the closest service center is 20km away.
Replacement OnePlus Open
After waiting for 2 and a half months, I finally got my replacement OnePlus Open, but when I opened it up, I realized it had different issues. So I reached out to support once more and they told me to send it in for repairs. It feels like I'm stuck in a loop of getting faulty devices from OnePlus.
Earbuds replacement issue
So, I had a bit of a frustrating situation lately with my earbuds. They broke for the second time! I found out a month ago that they don't make that model anymore, and in order to get a replacement, I had to send them back. At first, they offered me a worse model which I didn't want. After some going back and forth, they finally agreed to give me a different model for half the price, minus what I originally paid. I thought that was fair, so I sent back the broken earbuds like they asked. But then, once OnePlus got them, they went back on their word and said they didn't remember the deal, even though I had proof in the email conversation from the live chat. The customer service then offered me the bad product again or a voucher for the amount I paid for my old earbuds, which wasn't what we agreed on. I asked for it to be escalated to customer complaints, but I haven't heard back yet. It's been a month now, and I still don't have my headphones, which is messing with my work. I've been a loyal OnePlus customer, spending a lot of money on phones and accessories over the years, so I expect better treatment than this.
Oneplus Open fragility
I bought the Oneplus Fold and it was such a great phone. But man, I was so bummed when I dropped it from like 30cm while it was closed and wrecked the lower hinge and inside screen. It was gonna cost me an arm and a leg to fix the screen, so I just had to kiss that phone goodbye.
Bluetooth headphones (One year warranty)
I bought a set of Bluetooth headphones from this company recently and ran into a big problem with one earphone not working. I contacted customer service to get the pick-up and repair service and sent in a request. A week later, I got the package back, but my product was even more damaged and couldn't be used at all. Even after showing them videos and photos of me unboxing the product, the customer service team wanted more proof and ended up cancelling my request. It was really disappointing and showed a lack of care and support for customers.
Nasty Experience
Eh, I gotta tell ya, it's like totally impossible to get any help from this company! They seriously make it so darn hard for ya to fix your phone. I had a phone with a broken part and they were just like, whatever! It's like they want you to go through agony! When I tried to get a replacement part under warranty, it was as likely as me summoning a unicorn. And I've been a fan since their very first phone came out! My tip for everyone is if your phone breaks, just toss it like a frisbee or gift it to someone you really can't stand, eh.
Returned order for one of the devices
I am so frustrated with the service I got from this company. I had to wait forever to return my device because of their UPS label problem, which is totally not okay. And on top of that, I've been waiting for like 8 weeks now for a refund for my device and still haven't gotten my money back. It's so annoying and disappointing to deal with such a company that says they give great service. I really suggest you think twice before ordering from them, because my experience has been a total nightmare.
Recent Nord Purchase
I recently got the Nord phone from the same company I've been buying phones from for years. Sadly, this phone hasn't been as good as the ones I've had before. It always gets too hot, the battery dies quickly, and it lags when I'm just browsing online. I don't even play games that much, so it's really annoying. The only good thing is the camera takes nice pictures. But every time there's a new OS update, it messes up all my apps. The last update wiped all my contacts and login details without asking me first. Trying to get everything back has been a waste of time, especially for apps connected to Play Store or Google login. I talked to customer service, but they weren't much help. Now I'm stuck with a phone that can't sync contacts, check emails, or update apps. After being a loyal customer for so long, this is just too much frustration and disappointment.
Faulty inner screen, 11 weeks of waiting
My phone's screen stopped working only 19 days after I bought it, which was really annoying because it cost me a lot. I tried to contact customer service several times by phone and messages, but it took them about 5 weeks to fix the screen. But then the problem came back after just a few hours of using it. It's been about 6 weeks now, and I'm still waiting for them to approve a second repair. All they keep saying is that they're "working on it." It's been 11 long weeks with a broken phone and the lack of a proper solution or communication is so frustrating. I even had to complain to the BBB and the California Department of Justice.
Terrible customer service
There is absolutely no customer service with this company. The product is okay until you need to return it, then you're pretty much on your own! I've been completely ignored for months with no proper way to file a complaint. I've sent emails with no response, and even the chat staff admitted that they haven't bothered to even look at or address my complaint. It's been 8 weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund.
OnePlus Open purchase November 2023
The OnePlus Open is an amazing phone, top notch in performance and features. It's honestly one of the best phones I've ever had. But, after just 6 months of using it like I normally would, the folding part started acting up. I was opening it, like usual, and out of nowhere, it just stopped working properly. The left screen turned a weird green and wouldn't fully open. I sent it for repair right away, but they hit me with a big bill of £710.69 because apparently, they found some supposed damage that voided the warranty. They had to replace the battery, lens/display assembly, sticker, and screening. The repair guys over at SBE seemed uninterested and actually caused more damage trying to fix it. It's not right, I didn't do anything to deliberately mess it up. I've made a complaint and now I'm waiting to hear back, but I'm ready to take things further if needed.
Purchase - OnePlus 11
I picked up the OnePlus 11 back in February 2023 and I gotta say, it's been a solid buy. The phone has been running like a dream, super fast charging, a battery that lasts forever, and a powerful 8 Gen 2 processor. It's become my go-to device that does everything I need it to do. And it's a much better deal than splurging on the iPhone 14 pro/pro max, which is only a tad more powerful but a lot pricier.
Smartphone GPS issue
I had the worst customer service experience the other day when my phone's GPS went wonky. I reached out for help but was told to do a factory reset, which ended up bricking my phone. I wasted so much time on a useless fix. Seems like they care more about following procedures than actually solving problems - they could've just offered to replace the faulty device instead.
Oneplus Watch 2 charger replacement
I bought the Oneplus Watch 2 not too long ago and ran into a problem with the charger. I reached out to customer service and sent a video like they asked, but they wanted me to return the whole Watch, even though I told them only the charger was the issue. We went back and forth for a while, and they finally agreed to send a new charger, but they haven't done it yet. I've sent multiple emails that have been ignored and now I'm stuck with a Watch that I can't charge or use. Their lack of response and how they handled such a simple charger replacement makes me wonder how they deal with more complicated issues.
My new phone
So, I picked up this new phone, eh? It's like, really not good, you know? Honestly, it's the worst phone I've ever had. I was expecting it to be an upgrade from my old one, but it's even worse, hey. Every time I try to browse the internet, the phone freezes and the websites don't load properly. And you won't believe this, but it auto-rotates when I don't want it to! Such a joke, eh. Oh, and shutting it down is such a hassle now, seriously. You have to press two buttons simultaneously and it takes forever. Like, who thought of this stupid idea? Taking a screenshot is a disaster too, I have to try a million times to get it right. This phone costs way too much to have all these issues, man. Save your money and avoid buying this piece of junk, there are much better phones out there now. I'm definitely not purchasing this brand again, that's for sure.
Bulk phone purchase
I recently bought 10 phones from the company for my business, but ran into some problems. They only sent 8 of them and kept the other 2 for two weeks without explaining why. I needed all the phones for my employees, so this delay was really inconvenient. When I tried to return the 2 phones because of these issues, they wouldn't give me a refund. They didn't reply to my emails, even after I sent the phones back using their return label. This lack of communication and not following through is really disappointing and unprofessional.
Foldable phone purchase
I got this flip phone at the end of November last year. But in early February, I saw this huge green line on the screen. That got me worried because I need this phone for work. So, I called customer service and they said it would take 7-10 days for the warranty repair. But guess what? It's been 7 weeks now and still no fix. They keep making empty promises and giving excuses. At first, they wouldn't even tell me how long it would take, and then 10 days ago they said it would be all good by the next day. They keep saying sorry, but they haven't done anything to actually fix it.
Recent smartphone purchase
I got one of your company's smartphones not too long ago, thinking I could use it in other countries. But when I bought it in Hong Kong and tried to unlock it in the UK, I ran into some big problems. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get the phone to work in its new home. It's been pretty frustrating and disappointing, to be honest. Now I've got a phone that's not doing what I hoped it would.
Recent phone purchase
I bought a phone from your company not too long ago, and I'm pretty happy with the quality considering the price. But I gotta talk about the customer service situation I had. When I reached out about a problem I was having, they were fast to try and explain things but kinda dropped the ball on giving me a quick or helpful solution.

Faulty phone, terrible custome
I just got a new phone, but there's a problem with the screen protector. I reached out to customer service to get a replacement, but they're not being very helpful or ... Read onBy: K. Kemmer
