Patagonia Jacket
I recently bought a Patagonia jacket from this online store and I'm really happy with my experience. OMCgear had the jacket on sale for Cyber Monday and it was the only place I could find such a good deal. It was way cheaper than other stores, even the Patagonia store itself. So I jumped on it and ordered the jacket right away, canceling my previous order from Patagonia once I saw OMCgear's deal.<br><br>The whole ordering process was super easy. The website was user-friendly and I had no trouble adding the jacket to my cart and checking out. The price was amazing, especially for the quality of the jacket I got. Down jacket purchase
I was lookin' for some warm down jackets for me and my partner, eh, and I stumbled upon this website that had wicked prices on quality jackets, eh. I found exactly what I needed and decided to buy 'em. But, oopsies, I messed up and ended up orderin' the jackets twice. I contacted customer service to see if they could help me out with the shipping, and they got back to me real quick and sorted everything out. They combined the orders and even gave me a refund on the extra shipping charge for my partner's jacket. The delivery went smooth as can be, no troubles at all, and I'm over the moon with the whole experience, eh.
Online purchase experience
My recent online shopping experience was pretty good overall, but I hit a snag with the delivery part. Everything was smooth with ordering and customer service, but I had a problem with the delivery options. Because of bad weather where I live, I tried to change the delivery location to somewhere more convenient, but the company wouldn't allow it. So, I had to go pick up my package from the UPS spot during their short weekday hours, which wasn't really what I had in mind. I think OMC should think about loosening up these delivery rules so customers have more choice and convenience.
Dromedary bag purchase
I just bought a dromedary bag from this store recently. There was a small hiccup because another item was out of stock. But I have to say, the customer service team did a great job keeping me in the loop and offering good solutions for the out of stock item. They were quick with their responses and gave me clear answers to all my questions. When my stuff arrived, it was in perfect shape, well-protected in the packaging, and it got to me pretty quickly. All in all, I had a really good experience with this store and I would definitely recommend it to others.
Outdoor gear
I bought something from this store because I saw a cashback deal on a well-known website. But even though I followed all the rules and didn't use any coupons, they still said no to giving me the cashback without giving a good reason. It's really frustrating and not cool. I won't be shopping there again.
Avy beacon purchase
Oh my gosh, I got this awesome avy beacon from the store for my trip and they even called me on a Sunday to help with the shipping options! The customer service was super nice and helpful, and the price was really good. I'll definitely be shopping here again.
DAS Parka
The DAS Parka is seriously amazing! It's super light, blocks the wind, and keeps me so warm. The smooth outer material is perfect for repelling rain and snow, and the hood is big enough to cover my whole head. I'm really impressed with how technology was used to make such a great product. And the whole experience with the company was just as impressive as the parka itself. Ordering was easy, service was excellent, and the price was fair for the quality. Delivery was also quick. I'll definitely be buying from this awesome company again.
Grigri 2 purchase.
I jus' got myself a Grigri 2 from OMCgear recently, eh, and gotta say, overall it was a decent experience. The price with the discount was pretty sweet, and I had no trouble applying it at checkout. The only bummer was that the shipping took forever. I ordered some more stuff from another store at the same time, and OMCgear's package took way longer to show up. Not sure if it was totally their fault, but it was still kinda annoying, y'know? Anyways, the item arrived in good shape, packed up nice and snug in a big ol' box.
Return/exchange of order for correct size
I had to return/exchange something because it was the wrong size, and let me tell you, the customer support team was amazing to deal with. They were fast, efficient, and super helpful the whole time. They got my return sorted, refunded my money, and set up a new order for the right size in no time. And on top of that, they matched the price of the new order to what I originally paid, which was awesome. I was really happy with how the OMCgear team helped me out. Approach/Hiking Shoes Replacement
I had to get new Salewa Wildfire Edge approach shoes after using my old ones for 3 years. They were the best shoes for hiking and approach I've ever had, so I wanted to find a good deal on them. I found out that OMCgear was the only place that had them on sale for less than the regular price. I ordered them on a Tuesday and they arrived at my house on Saturday. I saved $42 and the service was really great. I'm super happy with my new shoes and I'll definitely shop there again.
Hiking boot purchase
I bought a really good pair of hiking boots from this store not too long ago. I had a few questions about the size and how returns work, so I got in touch with their customer service. I was happy to see how quick and helpful Jack and Chris were in answering all my questions. They gave me all the info I needed to make a good choice, and I was really grateful for their help.
Backpack purchase, cheap price, delayed delivery
I was stoked to see that this website had the backpack I was looking for at the best price I could find on the internet. The checkout was easy peasy, but I got a bit miffed when my new member discount didn't work. Shipping took longer than I thought, but I could at least keep an eye on my package online. All in all, I had a pretty good time shopping on this site.
Winter gear purchase
So, I just found this store and let me tell ya, it has seriously saved my bacon with my move from California to Colorado. I was in desperate need of winter gear and was pleasantly surprised to see they had a great variety at reasonable prices. The customer service was top-notch, my order was done in a jiffy, and the quality of the stuff I got was beyond what I expected. I just snagged a set of BC XC skis from OMCgear as a Christmas gift. I was stoked to discover exactly what I wanted, brand new, and at a better price than other stores. Ordering was a breeze and I was pleasantly surprised when the skis arrived quicker than I thought all the way up here in Alaska. It was awesome that there were no extra fees for the large package. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with fast service. I'd totally recommend OMCgear to anyone looking for outdoor gear.
3-day Shipping Purchase
I bought something from OMCgear and decided to go with the 3-day shipping from UPS. My package ended up being delayed, so I tried to switch back to their free regular shipping and get a refund. But OMCgear told me it wasn't their problem once the package was handed off. Even though UPS had said they would refund the shipping charges as part of their policy for 3-day select shipping. OMCgear still wouldn't give me a refund. It was frustrating and disappointing to see them not taking responsibility or helping me out as a customer.
First-time online order
As a new customer, I was let down by the product I got from this site. The picture online didn't show me what I really got, so I had to send it back on my own dime. It's annoying that OMC doesn't pay for return shipping, and it makes me wonder if they really care about keeping customers happy.
20% off coupon mishap
So I was online looking for some new outdoor gear, right. And then I found this amazing pop-up coupon for 20% off, you know? But when I tried to use it, it said "invalid" in my cart. So I called the store and this total jerk on the phone told me the I.T. department didn't know it was already on sale. Like, what's up with that? I told him they had to honor the advertisement because it's the law, but he just said they didn't have to and hung up on me. Can you believe that? This store is like sketchy or something, acting like they can do whatever they want. So yeah, avoid this place if you want to be treated well. They're so stuck up and rude, ugh.
Waterproof Hiking Boots Purchase
I bought these waterproof hiking boots from this company, thinking they would keep my feet dry and comfy during my outdoor adventures. But dang it, after just one long hike, both boots started leaking a lot, making my socks all wet and my feet all miserable. I was pretty let down by how these boots held up, so I wanted to write a review to let others know about my rough time. But get this, they actually rejected my negative review because I didn't recommend the boots. That shady review process left me feeling pretty ticked off and like they weren't listening to me as a customer. Tried to show I wasn't a robot like they asked, and the form even said I wasn't automated. But as soon as I gave my honest feedback with a one-star rating, they suddenly called me a robot and tossed out my review. That lack of honesty and fairness in their review system is not cool and makes me doubt this company. I'd caution others to be careful when buying stuff from them, since it seems like you can't speak your mind without getting censored.
