    Various beauty products

    I recently bought a bunch of beauty stuff from this brand, and honestly, I have some mixed feelings about it. Some of the products didn't really do it for me, like the instant glow serum and the minimalist makeup. The serum had this weird oily feel that made me want to wash my face right away. And the minimalist makeup just didn't blend well and made my skin look all dry and clumpy, even though I've got oily skin.

    But on the bright side, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean lash mascara and the flush balm. The mascara gave my lashes a nice, natural look without making them all hard and spidery. And the flush balm gave me a nice, subtle rosy cheek that worked well with my fair skin.

    Overall, my experience with these products was a mixed bag of good and bad.

    Minimalist makeup products

    I really wanted to love these products, but they just didn't live up to what I was hoping for. The serum was so watery and messy when putting it on, and it had this weird glittery shine that stayed sticky on my skin. The minimalist makeup was cakey and didn't hide my blemishes very well. The highlighter, contour stick, blush, mascara, eyebrow gel, and lip oil didn't last very long or work very well. The eyebrow gel felt like it was empty when I got it. Overall, I was pretty let down by the lack of quality and lasting power in these products.

    Delayed Order

    I ordered something from this company not too long ago, but it's been a whole two weeks and my purchase still hasn't shown up. I've tried emailing them, but I haven't heard back at all. It's really getting on my nerves as a customer to deal with this lack of communication and slow delivery. I'm thinking about asking my bank for a refund because this company is dropping the ball big time. I'd recommend to anyone else thinking of buying from them to hold off until they get their act together and start providing better service.

    Cheek balm purchase

    Hey, so I gave this product a shot, eh? I got the cheek balm that’s supposed to also work as a lip tint. The packaging was super cute, but honestly, it was a total waste of money. I tried it out and in like five minutes, gone. Like, where did it even disappear to? No color left at all, just my bare face looking back at me. If I wanted a no makeup look, could have just skipped buying this and gone natural.

Ended up having to get PayPal involved before I got any sort of response, and even then it was kinda snippy. Finally, after what felt like forever, the shipping company got my order. And guess what? No free makeup bag like they promised. On top of that, the eyeshadows were just meh and way too pricey. All in all, not impressed with the service or the product.

Even though I decided not to follow their advice because of past experiences with foundation that was too light, I ended up choosing my own shades based on swatches on their website. I was really happy with all the products I bought - they were exactly what I was looking for. There are a ton of YouTube reviews out there, but I can tell you that the products totally lived up to the hype for me. Just a heads up - it's probably better not to get the full bundle at the discounted price, because you might actually end up spending more. It's smarter to get the smaller sets and pick up any missing items separately to save some cash in the long run.

    Over two weeks ago, paid over $150, no items received

    I'm really disappointed with my experience with the company. I ordered something over two weeks ago, shelled out a good chunk of money, and still haven't got anything. I've tried emailing Merit multiple times but haven't heard back at all. It's just not cool to be so unprofessional, and I have a feeling the products aren't great either.     I was so bummed when I got home and saw my package just chilling outside where anyone could snag it. I called up Merit's customer service right away to let them know what's up, but they basically shrugged it off and said it wasn't their issue. And get this – all they offered was a measly 10% off my next buy like that would make everything better. No way am I giving them any more of my cash in the future. Disappointing, eh?

    Quick purchase turned into a nightmare

    My experience with this company was just terrible, eh. I ordered something and right away I felt like I made a big mistake because their customer service was the worst, you know? They didn't even bother to answer my emails, and when they finally did, they were super rude about it. And to top it all off, when my order showed up missing some things, they just straight up cancelled it without even saying why. I've even heard about other people getting charged twice and not getting their money back. It's clear that this company cares more about being jerks than actually helping out their customers.     I really love the products I got - they're so flexible, simple to use, and the colors are just lovely.     Disappointing lipstick purchase

    Oh man, I can't believe what a hassle I had with this lipstick order. Got it delivered and there was a huge dent in it! So, I contacted customer service and they had the audacity to say it's totally fine to use. Like, seriously? Finally, after being all defensive and not even saying sorry, they agreed to refund me. But then, the next day, I noticed they charged my credit card for the same amount they were supposed to refund me. When I questioned them about it, they straight up denied it, brushed off my concerns, and just repeated the refund process. How do they explain charging my card if they weren't supposed to? I even double-checked with my bank and they confirmed the charge. They're definitely messing with me and I'm not standing for it. This is straight up fraud, taking money without permission is not okay. Merit better start taking their customers seriously, that's for sure!

    Shipping issue

    My recent run-in with the customer service lady, Libby, was a total letdown. She wasn't just unhelpful, she was also pretty unreasonable and didn't make any sense trying to sort out a basic shipping issue. Her unwillingness to even give it a shot left me irritated and thinking the company doesn't really care about keeping their customers happy. Seems like Merit isn't too concerned about giving good customer service, which is a shame.
