Only after it shipped did I learn about 16% duty on the item and then roughly 20% VAT on the whole bill. That pushed the total way past what I expected. I started wearing them the day they arrived though, and weirdly they're actually nicely made and comfy, which surprised me. I was also taken aback to discover it was a Chinese site. Service was okay, but the hidden costs ruined it for me.
