Recent upgrade from a 692 to an i5
I switched from the 692 to the i5 because the 692 was just too intense. I thought the i5 with basic mapping would be an improvement, but it turned out to be pretty unreliable. The feature for saving maps to history never seemed to work right. The customer support team was quick to respond, but they kept asking for more details and suggested trying a different WiFi network, even though the one I have works great for all my other devices. It was frustrating, I really miss my 692.
Bot Vacuum
After dropping $800 on a bot vacuum that promised to be a game-changer, I was let down big time. The start button crapped out in under two years and the tech crew said it was some unfixable software glitch. I barely even used the thing and took good care of it, but it became useless. Not only did it have a super short life span for something so expensive, but the customer service folks wouldn't replace it since it was out of warranty. Total waste of cash on what ended up being straight-up junk.
Troublesome return process
I had a frustrating time trying to return a product I bought from them. I had to chat with 4 different folks just to finally get a label sent to me by email for the return. The first person I talked to couldn't manage to create the label and sent me over to the sales/returns team. But, guess what? Sales told me they don't handle returns and directed me to Technical Support. When I got to Technical Support, they weren't much help either and kept putting me on hold a bunch of times. It was a real hassle and I was pretty bummed out by their customer service. It's too bad since their product is actually pretty good, but the lack of proper support seriously blemished my whole experience.
Dark carpet sensor problem
I had an issue with my robot not being able to detect dark carpets properly, so I decided to contact customer service for some assistance. I was really hoping they would give me some advice or a fix, but all they suggested was to purchase a new model. I mean, come on, that doesn't really address the problem! I was not happy at all with their lack of support.
Vacuum purchase
I recently bought a vacuum from this company and unfortunately, it was left on my front porch and got stolen. It wasn't completely their fault, but I was really surprised by the lack of follow-up and customer service afterwards. When I first called, I had to wait over an hour to talk to a guy named "George," and now every time I call back, they keep transferring me to him. It's been really slow trying to get approval for a refund or replacement, with no updates from the company. Now, I have no choice but to get my credit card company involved to fix this. Overall, I'm really let down by the customer service I've received from this company.
Roomba i7 and Braava jet
I recently bought this robot vacuum and mop from a company, and let me tell you, it's been a complete disaster. Both devices struggle to get around even the simplest rooms without any obstacles. I tried reaching out to customer service a few times, but they weren't much help. They just kept blaming the issues on where I put the charging dock, even though moving it didn't fix anything. I suggested sending a bug report to the developers to fix the software problems, but they said no. It's obvious that this company cares more about money than giving customers a product that actually works.
Smart robot vacuum
I just got a smart robot vacuum, and I must say, it's been doing an amazing job! It cleans efficiently and moves around my house with ease. The scheduling option has been a game-changer for me, I can set it to clean even when I'm not around. Plus, the app is super easy to use and keeps me updated on its cleaning progress. I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a convenient cleaning solution.
Garbage Products & Customer Service
I just want to say how upset I am with the products and customer service I got. The products are totally not up to standard and the customer service is basically non-existent. It felt like I was chatting with a robot, not a real person, whenever I tried to get help. My concerns were totally ignored and not dealt with properly. Dealing with a company that doesn't care about their customers is so annoying. Save yourself the trouble and don't go near this brand.
Roomba i8+ purchase
I bought a robot vacuum that also mops from this company not long ago. My order came, but it was missing some important parts for the mopping part to work right. I tried to contact customer support right away, but I didn't hear back for a whole week. Finally, when they did reply, they asked me for info I had already given them. Even after calling twice and sending lots of emails, my problem wasn't fixed quickly or well. This bad customer service really affected how I felt about the company.
Vacuum cleaner disaster
My vacuum cleaner has been a total disaster from the start, eh! It's broken down three times already, and every time I've had to deal with the worst customer service ever. The latest incident was a total nightmare - they sent me back a broken vacuum after supposedly fixing it. They made me take the darn thing apart and waste 20 frustrating minutes trying to troubleshoot the same problem. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this vacuum at all costs, eh!
Extended warranty
I just gotta say, I'm so frustrated with the customer service team. I was on hold for what felt like ages, only to talk to someone who didn't seem to know what they were doing. I needed to extend my warranty, which I had gotten a reminder about just days ago. It blows my mind how the rep couldn't just point me in the right direction right off the bat. It's not cool to have customers go through all that hassle and get such lousy service.
Vacuum connectivity issue
I recently bought a new vacuum from this company and ran into a big problem when I tried to hook it up to the app. I've reached out for help from customer service and tech support multiple times, but haven't gotten any useful advice. It's frustrating that even after trying all the suggestions on their website and from other users, I still can't fix this issue. It's disappointing to spend money on a product that doesn't work like it's supposed to.
Vacuum cleaner
This company is such a scam, eh? I bought a vacuum cleaner and it was totally defective, I tell ya. When I tried to return it for a refund, they never did a darn thing about it. There's no customer service worth talking about, I can tell you that much. Ya better steer clear of this company, that's for sure.
Faulty iRobot mop
I just bought a new iRobot mop, but it's been a total dud from the get-go. I've been trying to get some help from customer service, but they're not answering me or doing anything to fix the problem. It seems like they're dodging their responsibilities on purpose. I'm really let down by the terrible customer service and my whole experience with iRobot.
Expensive robots, maintenance, constant errors, high repair costs
I've been using these fancy robots for a while now, and let me tell you, they do the job well when they're actually working. But man, the maintenance costs are no joke. I paid a pretty penny for these robots, but they only seem to last me about 1-2 years before things start going haywire. I'm constantly dealing with error messages, having to do resets all the time, and shelling out more cash for repairs. Just the other day, I had to fork over $225 for a repair, and now I've got two more errors popping up on my other robot. The thought of spending another $400 on top of what I already paid is stressing me out. It's frustrating to see how much it costs just to keep these robots up and running.
High-end robot vacuum purchase
The robot vacuum is actually really good, but man, dealing with customer service has been a huge letdown. When something goes wrong with the vacuum, it feels like forever before we hear back from them. And when we do finally get a response, they're basically just making educated guesses about what's wrong and suggesting we buy new parts that don't even fix the problem. It's cost us a bunch of money on stuff we didn't need. We might just go with a different brand next time.
warranty, repair, cost
I was pretty happy with the product while it was under warranty, but man, the customer service was a real letdown. It took them four whole working days to get back to me for technical support, which is just not cool. On top of that, they didn't give me enough info to help me make decisions. When the warranty was up, they asked me to send my robot in for assessment without telling me how much repairs might cost, and it ended up being really expensive. They didn't even have a price list available, so I couldn't prepare for any surprise bills. To be honest, I don't think the pricey product was worth it in the end, and I've definitely learned my lesson to always check that customer service is top-notch before splurging on something big like this.
Recent upgrade to newest model.
We've been using this product for about three years now and just recently got the newest model. Overall, we've found it to be pretty dependable, although we do run into some occasional problems with the mapping. The camera feature that takes pictures and identifies obstacles is really cool. Even though we mostly really like the product, there are times when it takes longer than we'd like to finish tasks.
Dual robot purchase, frequent breakdowns
I bought two robots from this company not too long ago, and yeah, both of them crapped out on me within the first six months. The customer service folks were pretty good about helping me get things sorted, but man, it took forever - like over 4 hours each time - to figure out and fix what was wrong. Now I'm just waiting to get my money back for the last robot, which is turning into a bit of a pain in the butt.
