Ski and boot purchase in Utah
I just got some skis and boots at the store in Utah on January 5th. But after they mounted the skis, they didn't send them to me like they said they would. I had to call on January 28th to find out the skis were just hanging around there. They said they'd do free expedited shipping, but it took way longer than the 7 days they promised. I'm not happy with this kind of service, especially since I spent a lot on these skis.
Ski purchase, defective warranty
So, I bought a pair of skis from Evo not too long ago, and to my dismay, I noticed a problem with the top sheet peeling off after only using them a few times. The warranty said that issues like this should be covered, but when I contacted Evo for help, they said it was just topsheet chipping and wouldn't fix it under warranty. I was pretty let down by their response and felt stuck without any help. Eventually, I had to go to the brand directly and even involve my credit card company to get the support I needed.
Ski jacket and pants
Hey there, as a Canadian customer, I was pretty happy with the ski jackets and pants selection at Evo. Their website was easy to use, and I found exactly what I needed. Plus, the sales and discounts made it a sweet deal. But man, those duty fees on delivery were a bummer. It would be awesome if they could open a warehouse in Canada to cut down on those fees for us Canucks. Overall, though, I'm happy with my purchase and will for sure check out Evo again for ski gear in the future.
Airport transport service
The airport transport service from Evo is really great. The drivers are always on time and make sure you have a safe and comfy ride. The cars are kept clean and well-maintained, so you can enjoy a nice trip. I like that the prices are fixed most of the time, so you don't get any unexpected charges. One thing I really like is that you can easily change your reservation if your flight is delayed or redirected, which makes things a lot less stressful. I've used Evo's airport transport service a few times now and I've always been happy with how it went.
Electronic payment services
I've had a few different credit card companies over the years, and EVO is the only one that has actually come through on what they promised. Unlike my old providers who were shady and ended up costing me money, EVO was upfront about their fees and monthly charges. Their customer support team was always quick to help whenever I needed it, and they even helped me set up payments with my point of sale system and online vendors. I really suggest checking out their payment services.
Winter jacket purchase
Don't bother with price matching at that store. They'll just give you the runaround with excuses and then leave you high and dry when the item you want is sold out somewhere else. I've learned my lesson - if you see a good deal, grab it and don't count on them to match it.
Wakeboarding equipment purchase
Just picked up some wakeboarding gear at an awesome price from this store. The stuff they have is really good quality and the prices are fair. Plus, the shipping is always quick and their customer service is super helpful and easy to talk to.
I bought a cool thing
It would be so much better if there were more pictures of the items, both inside and out. But, it's not too bad overall.
Apparel
I bought some clothes from that store not long ago, and honestly, it didn't go so well. Even though I made sure to check their sizing info, the clothes didn't fit right when I got them. I wanted to send them back, but they said I had to pay for the shipping, which was kind of a letdown. On top of that, I also got a pair of gloves that fell apart on the very first day I wore them. They wouldn't let me return them either, and told me to deal with the warranty through the manufacturer.
Hiking boots
I bought some hiking boots from that store recently and, gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the customer service. I tried calling them a bunch of times to ask about sizes and stock, but no one ever answered. I even left messages, but never got a call back. It was a real bad experience and I definitely wouldn't recommend shopping there if you want good customer service.
Ski boots purchase
I just bought a new pair of ski boots from this store. I did a lot of research and found out that they had last year's model in stock, and it was on sale for a really good price. It saved me some money, and it's exactly what I was looking for.
Snowboard equipment
I have to say, shopping at Evo was so easy and pleasant. The staff really knew what they were talking about, the selection was top-notch, and checking out was a breeze. They made sure I found exactly what I was looking for. And the prices were fair for the quality you're getting. I highly recommend checking this place out!
Gear purchase and customer service experience
I recently bought some gear and the customer service was amazing! The online rep helped me pick out the perfect gear, making sure it met all my needs and left me happy with my purchase. Everything went super well, the process was smooth and I feel really good about the product I got.
Snowboard jacket and boots
Nando is definitely the best guy in the shop, there's no doubt about it. He really knows his stuff, inside and out. He was so helpful when I was trying to decide on a snowboard jacket and boots, taking the time to really listen to what I needed and wanted. His knowledge and friendly attitude made shopping super enjoyable and hassle-free. I'll for sure be telling all my friends to go see him for their gear needs.
Ski gear purchase
My ski gear order showed up quick and in great shape. I was totally stoked when the package came a day early, giving me extra time to get ready for the ski season. The gear is awesome quality, and I'm pumped to hit the slopes. Big thanks to Evo for the awesome service!
Ski jacket purchase with promo code
I recently gave a call to order a ski jacket because there was a promo code that wasn't working on the website. The person I talked to from customer service was just amazing. She was really friendly and helpful, which made the ordering process super easy. Not only did she help me with my order, but she also made sure to apply the promo code for me, which I was very grateful for. I was really impressed with the great service I received, and it definitely made a good impression on me. Now I can't wait to get my hands on that ski jacket and I'll make sure to leave a review once I've tried it out.
Head Kore Skis/Attack Binding
The Head Kore skis paired with Attack bindings are amazing for skiing. They're super light and versatile, making it easy to switch edges and perform well on any slope, whether groomed or off-piste. If you want a ski that can handle any terrain effortlessly, this combo is the way to go.
Ski bag
This company really deserves a big shoutout for their excellent customer service. I had a problem with a ski bag I bought from them, but they were so understanding and let me return it, even though the damage might not have been their fault. They really went the extra mile to make things right, and I'm super happy with how they handled everything. It's so nice to see a company that genuinely cares about their customers and backs up their products. I'll definitely be shopping with them again because of this awesome experience.
Hiking boots purchase
I just ordered a pair of hiking boots for my trip and made sure to do it early so they'd arrive on time. But after two weeks, they still hadn't shown up. I called customer service and found out they got lost during delivery. It's so frustrating how unreliable things can be nowadays. I had to rush to find another pair for my trip because of Evo's error. And on top of that, they didn't even offer to make it right.
