    Printer purchase

    I picked up a printer that's not too bad, but definitely pricier than I expected for just personal use. But the worst part has to be their terrible service - can't even manage to get a hold of them over the phone, and downloading anything is a total headache. I gave them a call and ended up getting sent to a whole other company that was trying to push a fancy package on me just to update a driver for Windows 11. Can you believe that? Just plain ridiculous.

    My printer malfunctioned

    My printer was working just fine. All the colours were vibrant, and there were no signs of low ink apart from the software gauge. I was so close to printing out a super important document, only 10 pages away. I tried taking out the cartridge, blowing on it, restarting - but nothing worked. Turns out, a firmware was blocking any print attempts. I'm surprised Brother would do this, I thought only HP or Canon did this kind of thing. What's really got me is that I always told everyone in my circle to go for Brother when buying a printer, because they didn't push you to buy new cartridges when the ink was running low. I'm really let down by my new printer.

    I bought a printer not long ago and right away I had problems with it. When I tried to get help from customer service, it was super frustrating. They kept saying we had to talk through email or chat, even though a quick phone call would have sorted things out way faster. It took days to figure out what was wrong, when a phone call would have been so much quicker. Plus, they canceled my order twice and were hard to get a hold of on the phone. All in all, it was just a frustrating and inefficient experience.

    Toner prices

    I just bought a toner for my printer and man, the price was so high it gave me a shock. I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years and it's disappointing to see this company using such sneaky tactics to jack up the prices. Not only are the toners expensive, but they've also made it tricky to use cheaper options by putting chips in their products. The toner didn't last as long as they said it would and it's frustrating that there's not enough customer service to help with these problems. I'm thinking of switching to a different printer brand because of all these issues.
