Bed and couch purchase
Let me tell you, do not even bother with this company. I ordered a bed and a couch, pretty simple stuff, you'd think. But oh no, it was a mess. The delivery got delayed so many times, and when they finally came, the bed was missing a footboard. And to top it off, the delivery guy didn't even bother to put it together right. It's like they want to make customers mad on purpose. Dealing with their customer service team was a nightmare - they wouldn't let me talk to a manager and kept saying they'd call back but never did. And when I asked to return everything because of all the problems, they wanted to charge me a fee. Can you believe that? Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
New bed set
I bought this super pricey new bed set, a king-sized one with all the bells and whistles, you know? And get this - the dudes putting it together were so pumped about using their power tools, they accidentally broke my daughter's bed! Can you imagine? It fell to pieces as soon as they split. So, I called them up right away, and they claimed they were meant to take a pic when they dropped it off, but they didn't. Shady, eh? They've been jerking me around for a whole year trying to sort it out, like, seriously!
Love Seat purchase
Six years ago, I made a big mistake buying a Love Seat from the store. At first, I thought it was nice and stylish, but within two weeks, it started making all these annoying cracks and squeaks. I got a replacement, but the new one had the same problems. It was super frustrating! I ended up selling it because I couldn't stand the poor quality. Recently, I went back to the store looking for a small couch for my senior apartment, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, just three weeks after getting the couch, it started squeaking and cracking too, which could be dangerous. I talked to the manager about it, but they just didn't seem to care. Turns out, I wasn't the only one having issues - lots of other customers had the same problem with badly made furniture. The store's lack of responsibility and refusal to fix things left me really disappointed. I decided I'm never going back there again.
Sectional sofa purchase
Oh man, let me tell you about my horrible experience at that furniture store! So, I decided to buy a sectional sofa, but when it got delivered, it was missing a piece. This made it totally impossible to put together. And to make matters worse, the sofa itself was awful - wonky stitching, lumpy cushions, loose fabric, and no pilot holes for the legs. When I tried to cancel my order because of all these problems, they hit me with an insane restocking fee of over $800 for a defective product! The customer service was the worst - no one wanted to help me or listen to my issues. I felt like they just didn't care about me as a customer at all. Honestly, stay far away from that place if you can!
Purchased defective mattress and incorrect pillows.
I just bought some furniture from a store, and it was a bit of a letdown. They said they had good stuff and would fix any issues, but I got a messed up mattress and the wrong pillows two times in a row. I tried talking to them about it, but they didn't really want to help me out.
Rocker/Recliner
I went to the furniture store the other day to find a rocker recliner. They had a lot of options, so I picked one and paid for it in full, expecting it before Christmas. But then, my kids surprised me with a fancy recliner a few days later.
So, I went back to the store to explain and ask for a refund since I didn't need two recliners. Unfortunately, they wouldn't give me a refund, saying it was their policy. I was really disappointed in their lack of flexibility and customer service.
Finally, the chair was delivered, but I don't have room for it now. The delivery workers were nice, but the in-store staff, especially the manager, were unhelpful and rude.Ottoman and sofa purchase
So, I went to the store the other day and bought some stuff. Gotta say, it wasn't the best experience overall. Sara at the Whitby store was great, super helpful. But when they delivered the ottoman and sofa to my place, things went downhill. The ottoman was all messed up, like, you could see it was damaged in the middle, like someone had been sitting on it for years. I contacted customer service and even had a technician check it out, but they said they had to fix it instead of giving me a new one. Like, seriously? It was a brand new ottoman, I paid good money for it, should've gotten a new one. The offer they made, a little credit or repair, just didn't cut it for me. I expected better quality and service from them.
Mattress purchase for arthritis requirements
I had certain needs for my arthritis when it came to picking a new mattress, and the person helping me out was amazing. I told her what I needed, and she made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. The delivery process kept me updated the whole time and went really smoothly. It honestly couldn't have been any better! Super happy with my new mattress!
Furniture purchase with extra warranty
The furniture here is alright, but the prices are pretty steep compared to other places. That extra warranty they offer is basically useless and not really worth paying for. The salesperson kept trying to pressure me into getting the warranty by scaring me about my pets wrecking the furniture, which I didn't appreciate at all.
Dining table set and sectional sofa set
I went to the store and found some products that we really liked. We decided to order them for delivery in mid-September. But then, we started getting excuses and delays. Turns out, they gave our order to someone else. The customer service was really terrible - no apologies or compensation offered. I'm ready to take this up with head office now.
Large furniture purchase
My experience at Ashley Home Store was a huge letdown. I bought a bunch of big furniture for my place, including a bed for my wife who just had hip surgery. The guy at the store promised everything would go smoothly and gave me a specific delivery date. But man, the delivery was a total nightmare. First, they kept changing the date from a weekend pickup to a scheduled delivery with extra fees. They said they'd call me two days before, but I heard nothing. I had to move our old bed out of the room in preparation for the delivery, which meant I had to crash in the basement while my wife was upstairs. It was super frustrating and stressful - all because they couldn't get their act together with communication and organization.
The 'not good quality bed'
I went to this store that claimed to have amazing stuff. I ended up buying a bed that was super expensive, like over $3000, and you know what? The headboard and footboard started to look terrible after only two years! I even got a $500 warranty, but when I tried to use it, they said it wasn't considered a defect. Can you believe that? The fabric was pilling in places I hadn't even touched, and they still wouldn't cover it. It's just not right, you know? So if you ever go there, don't bother with the warranty, seriously, Don't Buy the Warranty!!!
Floor model sofa purchase
What's going on with the delivery of my sofa? I got it from a store in Brantford and it's been a total nightmare trying to get it. They first said it would be here on the 17th, then the 24th, and now they're saying not until October 15th! The delivery process is a disaster, and their customer service is terrible too. Every time I call, I get different answers and no one seems to know what's happening. This is so frustrating!
