Hey, so I've been using this website to have people write things for me, and it's been a blast! I've been using it for a couple of years now, and I think it's pretty cool. Sometimes I come across really amazing writers, and other times not so amazing ones, but all in all, I think it's awesome.
Freelancer dispute resolution
I had a problem with a freelancer on this platform where I wasn't happy with the work they did. Even though they said they finished the job and got paid, I was able to talk to customer support and got a refund after giving them all the info. I think there should be more protection for buyers and sellers to avoid stuff like this.
hired freelancer for coding work
I hired a freelancer on Fiverr to help me with a coding project. But things went south when they asked me to pay them through a cryptocurrency account instead of using the platform's payment system. And then, they disappeared without delivering the final product! Luckily, Fiverr came to the rescue and gave me credit for the freelancer's shady behavior, which I'm grateful for. Just a heads up, there are talented freelancers on the site, but watch out for those who try to bend the rules or take transactions off the platform.

I just bought social media marketing services from Fiverr and had some problems with the seller. But I gotta say, the customer service team at Fiverr was awesome and fixed the issue right away. Sara and Nash were so helpful and made sure they sorted out my concerns quickly. It's too bad that some sellers give Fiverr a bad name, but luckily the support team was able to fix things up.

My experience with the artist on Fiverr was pretty good. I was really impressed by the quality of their work and how well they communicated. But, I gotta say, I was kinda bummed out by the hidden costs that Fiverr didn't tell me about at first. I ended up paying double of what they originally said, and that made me feel like I got tricked and ripped off by Fiverr. It's just frustrating to end up having to pay more than you planned because they didn't tell you everything upfront. And on top of that, being pressured to leave a tip before everything was done was just uncool and felt kinda sleazy. I mean, I liked the artist's work, but the lack of transparency and unexpected costs kinda ruined my experience with Fiverr.

Fiverr is a great place for both buyers and sellers. It's easy to use, payments are simple, and you don't have to worry about running a website. But, there are some not-so-great things too. Customer support is limited and sometimes sellers aren't properly checked out, leading to scams and lousy services. Personally, I had an issue where my card got canceled with no good fix, which was pretty frustrating.
Voiceover service
I got a voiceover service on Fiverr, but was bummed when I found out it was done by a robot. I reached out to support and told them that the person who said they were doing the voiceover wasn't actually a real person - their profile pic was just some generic stock image. Even after I showed them proof, Fiverr didn't do anything about it and let the fake stuff keep going.
Small niche, tough competition, only 2 messages received
As a customer with a small niche, I found it hard to stand out among the competition on this platform. I have around 20 gigs similar to mine, but only got 2 messages from potential clients, and they didn't end up working with me. The app works fine, but my overall experience was a bit disappointing.

I was really impressed with the support I got. The technician went out of their way to find a solution without needing anyone else's help. You could tell they were dedicated and really knew their stuff when they fixed the issue. It was a big deal for us and our operations, so we're really grateful for their help.

I recently bought social media marketing services from a freelancer on this platform. But, I ran into some problems submitting my gigs because of site restrictions. Even though I tried my best to follow the guidelines and make the necessary changes, my gigs kept getting rejected and I got warnings. As a paying customer with a 20% fee, I was expecting better support and help in dealing with these issues. Also, finding other gigs like mine that somehow passed the requirements made me even more unhappy. So, I've decided to look into other platforms for my social media marketing needs.

But then I ran into a problem with a buyer who left a nasty review because they didn't get something that wasn't even possible to do. This bad review messed with my overall rating and messed up the new level system Fiverr had just put in place. After a lot of back and forth, they finally took down the review, but the whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth about Fiverr's Customer Service and how they handle these kinds of situations. The platform itself is okay, but the fees they charge both sellers and buyers are pretty steep, and the lack of support when things go wrong like my case makes Fiverr seem like less of a good choice in the end.
