    Web order for next day delivery

    I ordered something from the website last week and paid extra for next day delivery. But guess what? It never showed up. I called on Thursday to ask where my package was and they said it would come on Saturday. Surprise, surprise - it didn't. So I called a bunch of times today and they promised to call me back, but surprise again - they never did. Turns out the thing I ordered is out of stock, so now I gotta wait even longer for my refund. This company's service is a joke - I'm so let down.

    Birthday gift order

    Although they have a fancy reputation, the experience was a real letdown, eh. I ordered a birthday present and they took my money, but then they didn't even process the order, bud. At first, I thought maybe it was just a one-off error, but when I tried again, the same thing happened. It was so annoying 'cause I had to keep calling to check on my order and each time I got different answers. They missed the delivery date they promised, so by the time it arrived, the gift didn't even make sense anymore. Trusting this company to deliver on time? Big mistake, eh.

    Expensive hamper purchase

    So, I splurged on a fancy hamper from this high-end store, thinking it would be worth it. Unfortunately, I was let down. The wines inside were supposed to be top-notch, but honestly, they were only worth a fraction of the price I paid. Turns out, they were just average own-label ones, making me feel like I got ripped off. I was really hoping for better quality and more unique choices for the amount I spent. Even the wicker basket they came in felt like a rip-off, especially coming from a company with such a big name. Plus, the delivery was sketchy, leaving me worried about when and where my order would show up. All in all, I felt like I didn't get my money's worth with this purchase.

    Earl Grey tea and Royal Blend tea

    I dropped by this place on my London trip, and let me tell you, the tea I got was a total letdown. I got Earl Grey for me and the Royal Blend for my mom, and both were super disappointing. The Earl Grey was like weak, tasteless dishwater - no flavor or smell to it at all. And the Royal Blend wasn't any better. It was missing that rich, complex taste you'd expect from a fancy tea. I was shocked that a big name store like that could sell such low-quality stuff. I'm definitely not going back for more. My advice? Save your money and go for Twinings tea bags instead.

    Afternoon tea

    Our experience at the tea service was really disappointing, eh. We ordered three regular afternoon teas and one gluten-free option, but the food quality didn't meet our expectations, no way. The scones were dry, crumbly, and just not good at all. My friend couldn't even eat her gluten-free scones because they were so hard. The cakes were also disappointing in taste and how they looked. On top of that, we were told we could order more tea or sandwiches but then got charged for six afternoon teas instead of four on the bill. That ended up costing way more than we were expecting, eh. Overall, it was a letdown, for sure.

    Royal Blend Tea caddy for my mom

    I got my mom this really nice tea set, eh, but it somehow got lost outside in the garden! It took forever for my mom to find it, but luckily this amazing agent named Natasha helped out and sent a new one for my mom to keep. Pretty cool, right?

    Spring hamper purchase

    I recently bought a spring hamper from this company and it was a total letdown. The delivery was supposed to come on the Saturday before Easter Sunday, but the driver couldn't find my house, even though they had been here before. I tried reaching out through their online platform and gave them my address and order number, but they kept saying my billing address was wrong, even though it was right. I tried showing them proof, but they wouldn't help me. Their customer service was terrible and they didn't communicate well at all. I was so frustrated and now I have a bad opinion of the company. I won't be buying from them again and I'd advise others to avoid them too.

    Champagne, scones, chocolate brownie

    The champagne was just gross, like vinegar. The scones were super hard and the chocolate brownie was so nasty, it went straight in the garbage. I was so disappointed and angry, spending my money on food that tasted so awful. I'm never coming back here again!

    I bought a fancy hamper from this company, and it came with some issues. I tried getting help several times, but haven't got a good solution yet. So now I've brought PayPal into the mix to get my money back. I suggest others stay away from this company because their customer service isn't up to par.

    Easter order placed on 19/3

    I recently ordered something for Easter on the 19th of March, hoping it would arrive by the 28th of March. But, I was disappointed when I had to contact customer service on the 28th to ask about it, and they told me it wouldn't arrive until Wednesday, the 3rd of April. This delay was really frustrating and inconvenient, so I ended up cancelling my order. It's too bad that my experience with this place wasn't great, and now I'm not sure if I'll use their services again in the future.

    Online shopping experience

    It's been rough lately with the online shopping service. I've been a loyal customer for a while now, but since they went all digital, things have gone downhill. Out of the last ten orders I made, eight had problems, mainly due to issues at the warehouse. Late shipments, damaged goods, missing packages, and crickets when it comes to communication seem to be the new normal around here. It's frustrating to see them drop the ball like this. And don't even get me started on the outsourced customer service team in South Africa - long waits, language barriers, and broken promises galore.

    I ordered a gift basket from this company and it was a total mess. It took four months for the items to arrive, and when they finally did, the tins were all dented, the biscuits were completely smashed, and the basket itself was all wonky and couldn't even close properly. It was a complete waste of money and a huge letdown. I wouldn't recommend this company at all if you want to send a nice gift.

    Easter treats, next day delivery, well-wrapped items

    I just bought some really nice Easter goodies for me and my wife from this place. I went for the next day delivery and was happy when the stuff arrived right on time, all nicely wrapped up. The emails with delivery updates were handy and everything was spot on and in great shape, with good expiry dates for Easter weekend. Yeah, they're not cheap, but me and the missus think they're worth it, on par with treats from fancier shops.

    I recently bought a gift basket from this place, wanted to give a nice and fancy gift to someone special. But when it arrived, it was all broken and the stuff inside was smashed. I emailed them to complain, but got no reply. So I tried talking to their robot helper, who said I'd get a refund, but I still haven't seen it. This whole thing just made me super unhappy with their service and the stuff they sell. I really don't recommend getting important gifts from them, find somewhere else to shop.

    Fortnum's Hamper Purchase

    I was really let down by the service I got when I bought a hamper from this company. Even though I shelled out extra for next day delivery, the hamper didn't show up when it was supposed to, which was a huge inconvenience and letdown for the people receiving it. And to top it off, the customer service was slow to respond and didn't keep me in the loop. I had higher expectations from a well-known company like this.

    Black truffle oil purchase

    The whole buying process was a total mess, eh? I was lured in by the smell of that black truffle oil and figured I'd make a purchase. But when I went to check out, I was shocked to see extra charges for the VAT and delivery fees that weren't mentioned when I first saw the price. Even though I showed them proof from their own website that said the prices included VAT, the customer service folks couldn't fix things and were even mixed up on my order. So, in the end, I had to cancel my order because of the lack of transparency and bad service.

Even though they offered me a refund and a gift card to make up for it, it didn't really make up for the hassle of having to change my plans for Easter Sunday lunch because of the missing lamb. I really expected better from a store with their reputation, but the service I got just didn't live up to the hype. It's sad to see that their quality and customer service have gone downhill over time, as shown by my recent experience.
