Last-minute reservation
Let me tell you about my stay at this hotel. It was pretty good I gotta say, but there was one thing that really bothered me. The hotel was clean, comfy, staff were nice, and it was in a handy spot for a last-minute booking. But here's the kicker - their cancellation policy. I had to switch my reservation last minute because of some unexpected stuff, and when I checked out, they hit me with a cancellation fee. I tried to explain what happened, but they wouldn't budge. It really sucked that they weren't more understanding. It's too bad that one thing can overshadow an otherwise good time at the hotel.
Prague Carlo IV booked, double charged
I booked a stay at the Prague Carlo IV hotel and was shocked to find out that I got charged double for the same booking! The reception manager, Jan, was extremely rude and accused me of lying about the payment, despite having an email confirming it. He even demanded to see my bank statements as proof! When I asked for the name of his supervisor, he flat out refused to tell me. I had to reach out to customer service in the UK for assistance, but still, no apology or refund was given. This awful experience completely ruined my two-night stay.
Unpleasant stay due to false advertising
I recently stayed at a hotel that claimed to be a luxurious 5-star spot, but let me tell you, it was very far from that. The room didn't have air conditioning even though they said it did, which was a major letdown. And on top of that, the general manager was so unprofessional and kind of mean, which just made my stay even worse. I suggest looking for another hotel that actually cares about being honest and treating their customers right.
Group stay at a hotel in Berlin
I stayed with a group at a hotel in Berlin and it was a pretty bad experience. At first, they quoted us a lower price for a single room when we booked it, but when we got there they jacked up the price and basically told us to either pay up or leave. Not cool. The staff were also really rude and acted all high and mighty, which is not what you expect from a fancy four-star hotel. I definitely wouldn't suggest staying there to anyone else and recommend looking elsewhere.
Quick trip to a downtown hotel
The hotel was in a great spot right in the city, so it was super easy to check out all the nearby attractions. The room was clean and had everything we needed to be comfy. The only downside was the air conditioning was kinda noisy, especially considering how much we forked out for the room. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special. The staff were nice, but seemed more into chit-chat than making sure we had a good time.
Hotel reservation experience
My recent stay at the hotel was a letdown, to be honest. I booked ahead of time, but when I got there, they said they were all booked up and didn't have anywhere else for me to stay. They didn't explain, say sorry, or offer anything for next time. It left me feeling pretty unhappy. Hotels need to be prepared for things like this so guests don't end up disappointed.
Late checkout disappointment
I arrived early to check in, but they didn't keep their promise of a late checkout. And then, to top it off, they removed my belongings without even asking!
Recent stay at a city center hotel in Amsterdam
I just stayed at a hotel right in the center of Amsterdam and let me tell you, it was fantastic! The location was amazing, smack dab in the middle of everything, so I could easily check out all the cool stuff Amsterdam has to offer. The staff was so nice and helpful, they really made me feel at home as soon as I walked in. The rooms were super clean, nice and big, basically the perfect spot to chill out after a busy day of exploring. All in all, I had an awesome time and I would totally suggest this hotel to anyone coming to Amsterdam.
Disappointing room booking
Awful experience, eh? Booked one room, got another when we got there. Power went out, but somehow there was a room free. No phones, no room service, furniture was gross and broken. Only one English TV channel and way too expensive. Worst hotel stay ever. Don't bother staying here, do yourself a favor.
NH Italy stay
NH Italy is absolutely amazing! I visited Milan and Florence, and let me tell you, the hotels were so clean and they smelled incredible. The customer service was top-notch, and I am definitely looking forward to going back!
Excessive additional charges
I was pretty let down by my last stay, eh? They added on a ton of extra charges to my bill without telling me beforehand. Parking, Wi-Fi, and even pool towels all came with surprise fees. It would have been nice to know about all that stuff ahead of time so I could budget for it, you know?
Hotel stay review
I recently stayed at this hotel and oh boy, it was a total disaster. First off, the location was awful - couldn't even see it from the street and had to find my way through some sketchy alley just to get there. And let me tell you, lugging my suitcase up and down stairs? Not fun. And get this, no Wifi in the room! Can you believe it? For a hotel like this, it's just not on.
But wait, it gets even worse. Two fire alarms went off while I was there, and everyone had to evacuate. What a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend staying here to my worst enemy. And on top of all that, I've been a loyal customer in the NH loyalty program, but none of the NH hotels I've visited lately have given me the time of day. My stay at NH Hotel in Murcia was absolutely amazing. The front desk folks were so kind, helpful, and totally pro during my whole visit. I gotta give a big shoutout to Pedro for going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and that I had a great time. I can't thank him enough for being so awesome and on top of things.
Aweful experience and staff
The hotel was really not great. We had a room with a broken window, so all the noise from outside was just coming right in. The staff didn't really seem to care about us guests. Overall, it was a terrible experience. This hotel definitely doesn't deserve 4 stars!
Reservation issue at a hotel
I had a really bad experience with a hotel reservation I made. Even though I had confirmation and a guaranteed booking, when I got to the hotel, they said they didn't have my reservation and had no rooms available. It was so frustrating and unacceptable, especially after I had gone through the trouble of checking in online earlier. The hotel staff didn't help at all and didn't try to find me another place to stay. I thought the whole situation was rude and unprofessional. I tried reaching out to the hotel later for an explanation or apology, but I never got a response. It's really disappointing to see the lack of accountability and customer service.
Reservation and payment discrepancy
I had a really bad experience booking a hotel recently. I reserved a room online and was told one price, but when I got there, they charged me more. The people working there didn't care at all when I brought it up, they made me feel like I was getting ripped off. I ended up spending more money than I planned on, and I felt like they were being shady with their prices. It was a really unpleasant experience, and I would tell others to watch out when booking with them.
Wheelchair difficulties, room upgrade, shortening stay, disappointing experience
So, I stayed at this hotel and let me tell you, it was a real struggle for my wheelchair! I tried to get a better room but they couldn't make it happen. Then, when I wanted to leave early, they only gave me back one night's worth of money. Like, seriously? And don't even get me started on the check-out time, like why is it so early? And the manager didn't even bother to talk to me, they just had the staff deal with it. Not cool at all, man.
Stay at a 'not 4 star hotel'
Breakfast was alright, room was pretty decent, wifi keeps cutting out, dinner was awful, front desk service was subpar, no hot water in the bathroom, offered a 2-hour late checkout but ended up being charged for it. Definitely not going back to this chain of hotels.
Hotel stay in Groningen
My recent stay at the hotel in Groningen was really nice, eh. The room was super clean and cozy, with all the stuff I needed right there. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, they made checking in and out a piece of cake. Big shoutout to Dorine for going above and beyond during my stay. The hotel was in a great spot, with lots of good restaurants and shops nearby. All in all, it was a top-notch experience and I'd totally tell others to check it out too, eh.
Stayed at a dated hotel with large lobby and evening entertainment
I was at a hotel in Havana not too long ago and I gotta say, I was pretty let down by the whole thing. Yeah, sure, the lobby was huge and they had some decent evening entertainment, but there were a bunch of issues that put a damper on my stay.
