Lifetime protection purchase
I got this protection for my computer last year and thought everything was fine until a hacker got in without me knowing. I called my bank and a hacker intercepted the call asking for my banking info. Scary stuff! Thankfully, I didn't give them much, but I was really scared. Webroot fixed up my computer but then tried to hold my computer's programming ransom for a ton of money. I didn't pay up, and luckily my computer is still working, but now I don't trust them anymore.
False positive submission process
I recently used the online tool from the company to report a false positive for checking. But, I found that it wasn't really helpful since it just kept saying the file is bad without actually doing anything about it. It's worrying how they're not being responsive, especially since false positives can really hurt a developer's reputation, eh.
Cybersecurity solution
I've had a couple of times when my computer got a virus and I had to call a fake Microsoft number for 'help'. Each time, I just rebooted my laptop, did a scan with my cybersecurity program, and the problem was fixed right away. When I got a new computer, the switch was easy peasy with the same solution.

I really like using this software to make sure my computer stays protected from all the bad stuff out there. I feel like everyone should give it a try! Renewed by accident
So, y'know, I got this email saying I gotta renew my stuff, so I did. But then later, I realized I used a different email, and I already had a 3-year package. Then I got another email to renew and found out I had two accounts! I tried to get a refund for the extra year they made me buy, but they said no 'cause it was over 70 days already. Like, how was I supposed to know I didn't need to renew, eh?

Their security programs always meet my needs, which is why I choose to renew for multiple years at once. Seeing the Webroot logo on my screen gives me peace of mind knowing that the websites I visit are safe. When I've upgraded computers, transferring my Webroot protection has always been smooth. With multiple computers in my home, Webroot has taken care of all of them without any problems.

This program has really messed up my computer, it's so slow now that even simple things like opening websites or system settings take forever. It's ridiculous that it takes three minutes just to open the task manager with Ctrl+Alt+Del. I had to disconnect from the internet just to have a bit of control back. My dad's account got charged for auto-renewal without permission, eh! When I tried calling them, I couldn't get through without an account number, so I had to email them, eh. No surprise, they didn't reply (big shocker). My dad has dementia, eh, and he definitely didn't say yes to this charge, eh. Gotta sort it out with the bank now, eh.

So, I tried renewing my subscription online, but it was such a headache! I clicked on the 'Renew' button thinking it would be a breeze, but instead, I ended up on this blank form that made me feel like a new customer all over again. It was super frustrating not seeing any of my info there. I had to call them to figure out what was going on, and even then, it was a struggle to get the answers I needed. After repeating myself a bunch of times, a salesperson finally helped me out and assured me that I was all good to go. It would have been so much better if the online form was clearer and more helpful. And don't even get me started on the confusing last email they sent me - it just added to the whole mess!

I've been using this protection for my devices for a couple of years now, ever since my son told me about it. I'm not very good with technology, but my son works in IT and says it's the best.
