So, I bought this digital download software for $35.00, but man, trying to navigate the site and actually download it was rough. It took me over an hour to figure it out all on my own since there was absolutely nobody there to help me out. The software does have some pretty fast scanning features which I liked, but I ran into some problems when I tried to transfer it to my new PC after my old one went kaput.

I did a bit of digging online and found out that the company is actually a part of a well-known electronics retailer. I also read some reviews that said removing the software from your computer is a pain because it keeps reinstalling itself. My advice would be to check out the Better Business Bureau for any complaints about this product before you commit to buying it.

I've tested out a bunch of virus protection programs in the past, some free and some paid for, and I always ran into problems with annoying updates or reboots that messed up my computer. But then a tech person who fixed my PC recommended this program to me after a bad update caused a software issue. Since I started using it, I haven't had any problems at all - it just runs smoothly in the background without me even realizing it's there. This program has really messed up my computer, it's so slow now that even simple things like opening websites or system settings take forever. It's ridiculous that it takes three minutes just to open the task manager with Ctrl+Alt+Del. I had to disconnect from the internet just to have a bit of control back. My dad's account got charged for auto-renewal without permission, eh! When I tried calling them, I couldn't get through without an account number, so I had to email them, eh. No surprise, they didn't reply (big shocker). My dad has dementia, eh, and he definitely didn't say yes to this charge, eh. Gotta sort it out with the bank now, eh.

It would have been so much better if the online form was clearer and more helpful. And don't even get me started on the confusing last email they sent me - it just added to the whole mess!

I've been using this protection for my devices for a couple of years now, ever since my son told me about it. I'm not very good with technology, but my son works in IT and says it's the best.
