NetParcel shipping items from eBay
Shipping items from eBay with NetParcel is actually pretty convenient because you can get UPS labels at a cheaper price and save money on shipping. Just keep in mind that eBay and PayPal fees can eat into your sales, so make sure to factor that in before listing your items!
Unreliable delivery service
I ordered something online and it never showed up. The delivery person said they left it outside while I was gone for the weekend, but when I got back, there was nothing there. I tried to get a refund from customer service, but they wouldn't help me out at all. This company is really shady, it's hard to believe. I recommend avoiding them so you don't waste your time and money.
Laptop charger
I just bought a laptop charger on ebay.ca and it was a total disaster. The seller, turns out her name is Cassandria De Bellefeuille, seemed okay at first, but after I bought it, things went really bad. The charger never showed up, and when I tried to reach out to her, she never replied. I had to open a case for non-delivery, but even then, I never got my money back. Cassandria De Bellefeuille is a scammer and you shouldn't trust her. It's really disappointing that people like her can still sell stuff on ebay.ca.
Electronics purchase
As a customer on eBay, I gotta say, I had a frustrating time with the site. Seems like scammers are doing their thing on there, while us regular folks are left hanging. I bought some electronics from a seller, but they weren't what I expected. When I tried to leave a bad review, it got taken down right away because the seller whined about it. eBay should do better to protect us from scams and shady sellers, so we can have a good shopping experience.
Recent tax collection on total sale
I've been using eBay for like 22 years now, buying and selling stuff. I've always had a perfect record with 100% positive feedback. But lately, I noticed eBay is starting to charge taxes to buyers on top of the total sale price. They used to include shipping costs in the total sale price for fees, but now they're adding taxes too. I'm looking into whether this is even legal. Other sellers should check their selling costs too, to make sure they're not getting ripped off.
Stamp purchases over the years
I've been shopping on eBay for years, mainly for stamps. I have my own store and everything has been smooth sailing until now. The latest software update has made it really tough to list my stamps, the new setup leads me to a page that has nothing to do with what I'm trying to sell. It's frustrating and takes up a lot of time to try and figure out this new system. I really hope eBay goes back to the old setup, it was much easier to use and get things done quickly.
backpack
I thought this backpack I got would be really cool and stylish, but when I saw it, it was so ugly and boring. And the straps were all twisted up! Like seriously, what happened during shipping? I'm not happy with it at all.
CAD currency issue
I recently had a frustrating experience with the eBay website when I set it to Canadian currency, only to have it mysteriously revert back to US dollars without my knowledge. As a result, I ended up paying much more for an item than I initially thought, essentially getting ripped off in the process. The additional taxes and fees that eBay tacked on made the situation even worse, making me feel like I was being taken advantage of. To make matters even more exasperating, the shipping of my item has been a nightmare. It keeps getting rescheduled repeatedly, and after weeks of waiting, my package is still stuck at the same point it was three weeks ago. It feels like I've wasted so much time waiting for my order to arrive, with no end in sight. Needless to say, this entire experience has left me incredibly dissatisfied with eBay.ca, and I have no intention of making any future purchases on that website.
XBox One controller
The seller I dealt with on this site was just terrible. They said they were shipping from Canada, but actually, the item was coming from China and would take over a month to get here. When I asked about the delay, they didn't seem to care and just told me to relax. The tracking info they gave me was all over the place, showing that the package might not arrive until next year, long after I needed it for a Christmas present. Then they changed their mind and offered to send another item or give me a refund if it didn't show up in three days. I don't trust this offer at all and I'm pretty sure this seller is just going to keep lying to me.
Online shopping experience
I've been using eBay to shop online for about 5 or 6 years now, and, honestly, I've started to notice something worrying. I checked my credit card statements the other day, and it turns out that eBay is charging me more money for each order than what's shown on their site. This kind of misleading pricing really bums me out and seems totally unprofessional.
I bought stuff.
They really don't care, they lie all the time, and they won't lift a finger to help you out. Honestly, don't bother with eBay, it's the absolute worst. It's better to save yourself the headache and steer clear of buying or selling anything on there.
Overpriced pandemic items
I've been having a really bad time with this platform. I haven't gotten stuff I've ordered before, and now I'm super disappointed to see sellers jacking up prices during this tough time. It's not cool that eBay lets this happen without doing more to keep customers safe from this kind of behavior. It's frustrating to see basic things being sold for crazy high prices, making it hard for people who really need them. eBay needs to focus on taking care of its customers and stop sellers who are just trying to make a quick buck off of the current crisis.
Online purchase from a seller using Ebay's Global Shipping
I recently bought something online from a seller who used Ebay's Global Shipping, and let me tell you, it was a total nightmare. The package arrived at an Ebay hub in just 2 days but then it sat there for a whole 12 days. The tracking info said it was being "inspected" during that time. And to make matters worse, I've been charged duty fees when ordering from US sellers, even though the items should be tax exempt in Canada. I'll for sure steer clear of American sellers using Ebay's Global Shipping from now on.
My recent online shopping experience
As a frequent shopper on this online marketplace, I've definitely seen a decrease in the quality of service lately. It feels like they're focusing more on sellers from other countries, especially China, who get paid in USD instead of their own currency. This makes buying stuff more complicated and puts us North American shoppers in a tough spot. And now they've gone and limited the number of bids we can make in a day, which just feels like they're taking away our freedom to shop how we want. It's annoying to see Ebay getting more strict and less about the customers.
Electrical accessories
My experience with this site was really disappointing. The stuff I got from Chinese sellers was not good quality and sometimes didn't even show up. And when they did, they were all beat up. The US sellers weren't much better, asking for crazy high shipping fees. All in all, I felt like using this site was a total waste of my time and money, and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
Account suspension issue
I've been a customer of eBay for a long time now, and I recently had a really frustrating situation. I listed a product for sale and then bam! My account got permanently suspended. I did everything they asked, but the next day I got an email saying my account was suspended. So I called customer service to find out what was going on, and they said I didn't do anything wrong but couldn't give me any more info about the suspension. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but they said they were busy and would call me back in 2 hours. But guess what? They never did call me back. I felt totally ignored and so unsatisfied with how they handled everything. No transparency, no resolution. Just bad all around.
Account Banning Incident
I recently had a frustrating experience with eBay that really upset me. I had just set up an account to sell some stuff, but they banned me right away with no good reason. I tried asking customer service why I was banned, but all they said was that I was a risk to the eBay community - no specifics. I get that safety is important, but it was confusing not knowing what I did wrong. It would have been better if they told me exactly what I did, instead of just banning me without any chance to fix it. And on top of that, the customer service people I talked to were rude. One even hung up on me, which is not cool. It makes the whole company look bad.
Online purchase experience
I had the absolute worst customer service experience on this platform when I tried to make a purchase recently. I spent over two months trying to place an order, but every time I tried to finish my transaction, the website glitched out on me. I called customer support multiple times but the issue never got fixed, and it left me feeling really frustrated and let down. It's like this company doesn't care about its customers at all.
