Replacement e-gift card
I had a chat with customer service about two gift cards that weren't working properly. After talking it through, they sent me a new e-gift card to make up for it. The customer service folks were really on the ball and helpful the whole time. I'm feeling pretty good that the new e-gift card will do the trick for my spa visit next month. All in all, I'm thankful for how quickly and smoothly they fixed the problem.
Spa gift card purchase
So, I got this spa gift card for Christmas, right? And I was so excited to use it but then I found out it wasn't even activated! Like, what's up with that? Turns out, you gotta activate it in the store when you buy it, which is so inconvenient for both me and the person who gave it to me. Like, why do we have to go through all that trouble just to use a gift card in this day and age? Now I have to dig up the receipt and go all the way to the store just to activate it. It's such a hassle and honestly, it's turned me off from buying these spa gift cards for others in the future. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of getting one as a gift!
Card for massage
I got this gift card for a massage months ago, but I can't find anywhere to use it. It's been a struggle trying to redeem it, eh? I mean, I've had this card since August, and now it's mid-March. How am I supposed to relax with a massage if no one will accept this card? Seems like a bit of a rip-off to me!
Spa payment issues at Wyndham
So, yeah, I stayed at this Wyndham place, ya know? And they have this cool thing where you can use Spafinder to pay for things. But every time I try to use my Wyndham Visa card, Spafinder is all like, "Nope, girl, use a different card." And then when I give them my certificate, the spa folks can't even make it work! They gotta send it through, like, a ton of times. It's super annoying, eh?

I bought a gift card as a surprise for a family member, but it's been a total headache. I made the purchase a few weeks back, and no matter how many times I try to check in with customer service, the gift card still hasn't shown up. I had a really bad experience with the spa gift card I bought. Like a lot of other customers, I had trouble using it and had to end up paying a lot of my own money. The website is confusing because it shows places that don't actually take the gift card, which makes things awkward at the checkout. It's frustrating to think you can use the gift card, but then you have to take out your credit card. And sometimes even if a place says they take the gift card, only certain stylists will actually use it, so you have to be really careful. The worst part is how people treat you when you bring up the gift card - like you're cheap and not worth as much.

However, it's good news that you ended up getting a refund after sticking with it. Businesses should always put customer satisfaction first and deal with complaints in a fair and fast way. Hopefully, this whole situation will help both companies learn and do better with customer service to avoid these kinds of problems in the future.

Don't waste your money or your sanity, eh! My time with this company was a total nightmare, I tell ya. The customer service was absolutely terrible, the worst I've ever dealt with. They put out a promo code for Cyber Monday, but it wouldn't go through their system. And instead of honoring it like they should, they dragged their feet and made me wait 10 whole days for a refund. That's just shady advertising at its worst, if you ask me. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of these guys, eh!
