Running shoes
I just bought some new running shoes online, and man, what a letdown. It took a whole 3 days after I ordered them before I even heard anything about when they'd arrive. And when they finally did show up, they were way too small. I had tried on Icebug shoes at the store before, so I knew the right size, but these were way off. Seems like this company doesn't know what they're doing and doesn't care about their customers at all.
Recent shoe purchase
The shoes aren't as good as the usual ones, they're kind of flimsy, but that's okay because they're really lightweight. When the heel broke, I got amazing service. They sent me these repair patches that were actually made of stronger material than the shoe! If you have a not-so-great product but top-notch service, I'll definitely give you a 5-star rating.
Winter boots with good grip
These winter boots with amazing grip are seriously the best! They're so versatile and stylish, and the sole gives such good traction, making them perfect for the cold weather. Whether I'm walking far or just going for a casual stroll in the winter, these boots have got me covered. And to top it off, they look really good too!
Spiked boots for ice walks
I was so fed up with always losing spikes from my old boots when I went for walks on icy paths, so I decided to look for something that would work better. I came across these boots with spikes already built into the soles online, and thought I'd give them a shot. Let me tell you, they're fantastic! Not having to worry about losing spikes anymore is a huge relief. These boots are really comfy, have plenty of space for thick socks, and they're also really cute. I usually don't splurge $200 on shoes, but these boots are totally worth it. Another thing that impressed me was that they came with all the necessary paperwork and a return label just in case they didn't fit.
Several pairs of icebugs
I've been a loyal customer of this company for years, and have always enjoyed supporting a local business. However, my recent experience with their products has been disappointing. My husband, son, and I all purchased the same model of shoe, and each one ended up breaking in different ways. This should definitely be a red flag for the company to address. It took 7 weeks for my shoes to be repaired, and only at one location. However, my son's shoes were deemed unrepairable. When we attempted to make a complaint, we were offered a credit voucher for only half the cost of the shoes in-store. This is unacceptable - they need to do better. Sadly, this experience has led me to reconsider my loyalty as a customer.
My new kicks
These summer shoes are seriously the best! It's like walking around barefoot, but with extra cushion. I bought two pairs, but I really want one in every color. They are just so comfortable!
Shoes
I was so disappointed when I found out that the shoes I bought were supposed to be Swedish, but they were actually made in Vietnam and the quality was really bad. They didn't fit well and the overall quality wasn't great at all. I was pretty let down by the whole experience and I definitely wouldn't suggest this product to anyone else.
Shoes that pinch the big toe
I bought these shoes for $190, eh. The right shoe is botherin' my big toe, not great for walkin'. When I reached out on social media to complain, they just said I should've got a bigger size?? But then the left shoe would be too loose. Clearly, these shoes are poorly made with uneven width. Overall, low quality from Asia... I'd recommend gettin' some Sketchers for half the price, way more comfy and better shoes, eh.
Spirit8 orienteering shoe
My left Spirit8 orienteering shoe completely fell apart after only a year and a half, but the right one was still in great shape. Definitely seems like a problem with how they were made! I noticed other people had the same issue on Trustpilot too. Icebug and SM-sport only offered a discount on a new pair, which I think is unfair. The shoe still had all the steel studs and I only used it moderately. I don't think I'll be purchasing anything else from this company. They shouldn't be rewarded for not handling complaints properly!
Expensive shoes with varying quality
I gotta say, I was pretty let down by the shoes I bought from this company. Even though they promised a 3-year factory warranty, they didn't seem to care when I found some defects. They tried to brush it off as just normal wear and tear when the soles started coming off. It's obvious that the glue job was not done properly with the wrong adhesive. I wouldn't suggest getting their pricey shoes since there are way more affordable and better options out there.
Faulty Icebug shoe Adak Wool
I ordered an Icebug shoe, the Adak Wool one, but it came faulty. I wanted to return it for a refund or exchange, but the customer service wasn't helpful at all. It's really disappointing that they wouldn't assist me, especially since I've been a loyal customer.
Long delivery time
The delivery took 9 days to get here, even though I ordered during a busy time. I thought I'd get better service from a company that specializes in winter shoes. Unfortunately, the size didn't fit and they wouldn't exchange them for a larger pair. I had to buy a new pair and send back the old ones, and then wait a long time for the new ones to show up. Even though I paid twice, they didn't give me any priority. But the folks I talked to at customer service were nice enough when I called to check on things. The shoes seem alright, with the spikes giving good grip. However, for the price I paid ($250), I've had much better quality and comfier shoes from brands like Graninge.
Four pairs of shoes/kängor
I have bought four pairs of shoes from this company now. Two of them were from different stores and two were from the company's website directly. All four pairs have become my go-to winter shoes, even without snow. They are amazing, great quality, well-designed, and super comfy! My favorite pair is the "fully studded" Speed-L Bugrip, perfect for tough, icy surfaces. The Idun-L bugwebb are stylish suede boots with good grip, made even better with the removable studs that come with them. These and the Saunter Bugwebb are awesome for the city; add the studs when needed, they're easy to carry around. And lastly, the Solus W Michelin Wick, the stud-free option. So cozy, warm, and sturdy with good grip even without the studs (but on ice, studs are a must for me, nothing else;).
Trail running shoes
I bought a pair of trail running shoes from this company recently, and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the design of the heel area. The shoes are probably great for younger folks under 25 with no foot problems, but for someone like me who deals with heel cracks, the 45-degree angle in the heel part just doesn't cut it. Regular shoes usually have a 90-degree angle at the heel, but these ones have a sharp 45-degree angle that doesn't feel like it grips properly. This ends up chewing up my socks and causing painful heel cracks after long walks. This is a new issue for me, and definitely not what I was expecting from a well-known brand.
High quality shoes with BUGrip technology
I just bought a really nice pair of shoes with this cool BUGrip technology from your store. The delivery was spot on - they even included a PostNord return slip just in case. But luckily, the shoes were so good that I didn't have to send them back. I'm really impressed with the BUGrip technology, it looks super useful for dealing with icy roads.
