Camera repair and temporary replacement
My recent trip to the store was amazing! I had to get my camera fixed and needed a temporary replacement while it was in the shop. Even though the store doesn't usually rent out cameras, the staff were so helpful and gave me a few options to choose from. In just three days, I had a replacement camera ready for me to use for my photography work, which made everything super easy. What really stood out to me was how well they treated me - the next week, the Manager remembered my name and came to help me again. Bastien was especially great, he was so attentive and supportive. Even though I'm not a pro, he made sure I left with a camera that was just right for me. It's not often you find such top-notch service nowadays, and I really appreciate all their help. Bastien even went the extra mile by keeping me updated on my camera's status - it really showed how much he cared. Overall, my experience at the store was fantastic and I'll definitely be back for all my camera needs in the future.
Printed photos order
I just wanted to talk about my recent experience with this store where I ordered some printed photos. It's been well over two months now since I placed my order, and I still haven't gotten anything. I've tried messaging them several times but haven't heard back about where my order is at. I'm really frustrated with the lack of communication and how long it's taking to get my order. Now I'm worried that if I ask for a refund, it'll just be another long wait.
Photo book kiosk assistance
When I went to Henry's in Barrie to make a photo book at the kiosk, Matt McCartie helped me out the whole time. It was a bit confusing at first, but with Matt's help, it became a lot easier to handle. I really appreciate his support and guidance during the whole process.
Camera purchase
As a customer who recently bought something at Henrys, I gotta say I'm really let down with how everything went down. The website was acting up, causing a long wait for my camera to arrive. I get that things can go wrong sometimes, but this delay was just too much. It feels like they're not paying enough attention to getting orders right, which is super annoying for someone like me who's just trying to get their hands on what they paid for.
Repair service for camera lens
I took my camera lens to Henrys for repair not too long ago, and I gotta be honest, I'm super let down with how things have played out since then. It's been 6 whole months since I dropped off my lens, forked out $300, and I haven't heard a single peep about what's going on with it. I've been bugging them constantly, shooting off emails and giving them a ring, but I'm met with absolute radio silence every time. The lack of info and communication on Henrys' end is beyond frustrating. I'm left in the dark about the status of my lens, whether it's been fixed, or even how I can get it back. I feel pretty stuck and lost on how to get a hold of them and snag my lens back. It's a real bummer to shell out my hard-earned cash for a service that claims to know their stuff, only to be met with nothing but silence and no one taking responsibility.
Flash and rechargeable batteries
I recently bought a flash and some rechargeable batteries. But it's been a real headache - it took them a whopping 8 days just to send me an email saying part of my order was shipped. And now it's been over 16 days and still no sign of my flash. Honestly, it's been a total nightmare. I could have just gone somewhere else and got my stuff way faster.
2 batteries EN-EL 23
I bought 2 EN-EL 23 batteries from Henrys a while back. Been waiting for ages and still haven't gotten them. Even got a notification saying my order was ready for pick up at the store, but turns out it never made it there. Kinda frustrating since I paid for them over 4 months ago, eh.
Photo prints
So I ordered these photo prints from a Canadian website to help out local businesses. I got a confirmation email right away and they charged me, but it's been 3 weeks and I still haven't received the prints! I tried to reach them through online chat, phone, and email, but no response. Come on! How difficult is it to provide an update on my prints, eh? This is seriously the worst customer service I've ever experienced!
Camera and accessories
Ugh, omg this place was legit the worst, seriously! So, like, I ordered my camera and some other stuff on October 27th, right? And they told me they shipped my order on the 28th but only one thing showed up at my door on November 2nd. Like, where are the other 5 things I ordered? So I decided to email them on November 13th and I was just keepin' on bugging them, but all they did was send me a wrong tracking number and asked for my credit card info again. Finally, on December 11th, they tell me they're shipping 2 more items, but what about the rest of my stuff, man? It's been over 6 weeks already! So not cool.
Camera purchase
I bought a camera from them and it was honestly the worst experience! I tried to return it and ended up calling them like three times, waiting forever each time. I even sent in forms and still heard nothing back. It really seems like they couldn't care less about their customers.
Camera gear purchase
I just got a ton of camera gear from Henrys, and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! I spent over ten grand, but it was totally worth it. The staff there are so professional and really know their stuff. Plus, if you shoot them an email, they might even give you a sweet deal! Isn't that incredible? I'm already looking forward to my next purchase with them!
I got something from there.
So, I ordered this thing online, eh? And can you believe it's been three whole weeks and it still hasn't arrived! I've been calling them every day, but nobody answers! Are they even a legit company or what, eh? I've sent them a bunch of emails and messages on social media, but no response at all, eh! They're the absolute worst, and to top it all off, they won't even acknowledge their mistake! How sketchy is that, eh? They're just taking money from people and not delivering anything. It's a complete scam, eh!
Passport photos for my son with Autism
I just want to say a big thank you to the staff member at the Thornhill store location. Jeff, the guy there, really went out of his way to make sure my son, who has Autism, had a good experience taking his passport photos. He was so patient and understanding the whole time, which meant the world to us. He even gave us an extra set of photos for free, just in case the first ones didn't pass the government's strict rules. It was such a kind gesture that really touched our hearts. We'll definitely be coming back to this store and will be telling our friends about it, especially those with kids who have special needs.
Used camera case
I ordered a used camera case from Henry's, thinking I was scoring a good deal. But when it arrived, it was all scratched up and not working properly at all. The receipt didn't even match what I thought I paid for, which made me wonder if they sent me the wrong thing altogether. On top of all that, it took more than two weeks just to process my order, and I had to bug customer service multiple times to get any answers. The only silver lining was the customer service reps themselves, even though they were pretty slow to respond. It seems like Henry's is just trying to unload their shoddy goods by slapping a "used" label on them and tricking unsuspecting customers like me.
Developing equipment and two lenses ordered
I made the mistake of ordering some developing equipment and two lenses from this place, and let me tell you, it's been a nightmare. Everything had to be special ordered, and for one of the orders, I've been waiting for weeks. Now I gotta wait even longer for the two lenses. The whole process has been frustrating and taking up way too much of my time. I wish I never found this site. I'm for sure not gonna deal with them again.
Camera repair service experience
I recently had a not-so-great experience with the repair service at the London ON location. I brought in my camera for a fix and had to keep calling multiple times for two weeks just to get an update. It was really frustrating because I was put on hold for so long every time, and the info I got was all over the place. When I finally heard back, I was surprised to find out that the repair cost was way more than what the store clerk initially told me. The lack of clear info and communication made the whole thing a total nightmare.
Camera order
I bought a camera from this store, and let me tell you, I am really disappointed with how things went down. The website said they had the camera in stock, so obviously, I went ahead and ordered it. But then, I got in touch with customer service right after placing my order, and they hit me with the news that the camera wasn't actually available. They said they were waiting on the manufacturer because of some delays. It's frustrating to see the website change to "out of stock - order now for earliest delivery" only after I had already bought it. It's been weeks now, and I'm still waiting for the camera to show up.
Printer ink set
I had a really frustrating experience with this online store lately. I ordered a printer ink set for $200 over a month ago, but then my account got locked out because they were doing updates on the website. It took me a whole week just to get back into my account, and when I did, all my past orders were gone - including the ink set order. I've tried everything to get in touch with customer service - emails, phone calls, even requested a call back and tried online chat. But it's been 5 weeks since I made the order, and 1.5 weeks since I've been trying to reach them, and still no response.
Camera battery grip
I was so pumped to snag this camera battery grip at Henry's because they claim to price match and give you even more of a deal. But you know what? They totally dropped the ball! I found a whopping $420 difference, and they straight-up didn't follow their own policy. I talked to this dude named Scott online, and he was seriously rude about the whole thing. He told me that the price match is only for in-store purchases, and they wouldn't match such a huge gap. What a scam! I even showed them screenshots, but they just brushed it off. They've definitely lost my business.
Camera lens
I just bought a camera lens from this store and I have to say, the staff there really knew their stuff and were super helpful. They gave me all the info I needed to make a smart choice. They had a great selection of lenses and the store was nice and tidy. Only downside was the prices were a bit higher than other places around here. But all in all, I had a good shopping experience and would think about coming back for more stuff in the future.
