Shelf showpiece turned surprise
Shelf showpiece turned surprise
ServiceI’m glad I didn’t keep fighting with Bang & Olufsen — the whole thing ended up pushing me to something that actually works for me. I bought a Beosound A1 2nd a few years back mostly because it looked slick on my shelf and I collect gear, but I barely used it. Maybe ten times? Then out of nowhere it stopped working. That was frustrating, obviously, and I did what you’d do — checked forums, found lots of similar stories, and reached out to support. Long story short, they told me it was out of warranty, offered a 20% coupon and said they can’t repair that model. That shocked me a bit — like, they manufacture it but can’t fix it? So I gave them requested info when they asked for more, and only got the same canned reply again. That part was annoying and felt half-hearted.
Not worth the gamble
Not worth the gamble
Priceyou pay a premium and don't get the build or reliability you'd expect for that price. Customer care were pleasant enough on the phone and in emails, but polite sentences didn't fix anything. They even told me, in so many words, that fully repairable earphones are technically possible but would be prohibitively expensive to manufacture at scale. Translation: they accept a design that isn't service-friendly. That line felt like shrugging. Other brands I've used (Sony, Sennheiser, and a few smaller makers) managed longer lifespans or easier fixes, so it's not like wireless tech is universally doomed. If you're after flawless sound or a long-term investment, I'd look elsewhere. If you value design aesthetic and don't mind maybe replacing them, fine — but expect the risk. For me it wasn't worth the price. Buying from companies that show they can repair or have better QC seems smarter. Still, on the rare days they worked they sounded pleasant enough, so it's not total trash—just unreliable for how much I paid. If you're curious, try them in store first or buy from a retailer with a solid return policy — that would have saved me hassle.

Service
the repair paperwork included a short handwritten note from the tech saying they’d inspected the unit, which at least made me think someone actually looked at it. So it wasn’t entirely faceless.
Overall the biggest problems were delivery handling and the back-and-forth with support. It turned a reasonably decent-sounding product into a hassle. If you’re thinking of buying because you saw them in person or a friend recommended them, maybe wait until they have a local repair option or clearer customer promises. I’m left sort of annoyed but also kind of surprised by that tiny personal note — small comfort, really.
Finally worked — and I breathed a sigh of relief

App & Portalneat design, feels solid enough. Then the fun began. Delivery was a mess; missed windows, reschedules that didn’t match what I was told — small rant, but not the main thing. Setting it up was where I nearly gave up. Bluetooth wouldn’t stream straight away, the app couldn’t see the speaker half the time, and the software update stalled on that never-moving progress wheel. You know that empty feeling when something that’s supposed to be simple turns into a chore? That was me.
Almost gave up on them

Returns & RefundsOkay, so quick heads-up — I’d been eyeing B&O for a long time, love the look and the sound in theory, but I kept hesitating because of the price. I finally caved eight months ago and bought the Beoplay EX. For a while everything was fine, but then one side started acting up and I thought, well, that’s why there’s a warranty, right? Turns out it wasn’t that simple. After a week of emails I got a repair instruction and a DHL label; relief for two seconds. Then DHL called after pickup and said they couldn’t ship the earbuds because of batteries. They left them at the depot and told me to collect them. Which felt weird because B&O had booked the courier in the first place.
Beolit 15 speaker
Beolit 15 speaker
ProductI bought the Beolit 15 speaker from this store and I was really let down. It was pricey, but it didn't hold up like I thought it would. The metal frame started to come apart, which made the speaker not look as good, and the battery died with no way to replace it. On top of that, the speaker cuts out at louder volumes, so I can't rely on it. Even though it's under warranty, the customer service and help from this store has been pretty bad - they didn't offer any compensation or exchange for the issues.
Beosound Stage purchase
Beosound Stage purchase
ProductI got the Beosound Stage a few years back and I gotta say, I'm really let down by how it keeps losing connection all the time. I've tried everything to fix it, but every month like clockwork, it's disconnected from the TV or network. It's just become a real headache and a waste of money, honestly.

Its slick design fits in with any decor and always wows my guests. I've had my eye on this speaker for a while now, and I can say for sure, it was totally worth splurging on.

ServiceI went to the store not long ago and got some help from a guy named Ian who really knew his stuff. I was looking for some top-notch headphones, and Ian was awesome in letting me test out different ones and listen to how they sounded. Thanks to him, I decided to go with the Beoplay HX headphones, and I have to say, they've been amazing in terms of audio quality. Ian really knows his stuff and made shopping a breeze. I'm grateful for his commitment to helping customers find exactly what they need.
BEOSOUD A9 stereo speaker purchase
BEOSOUD A9 stereo speaker purchase
ProductBEOSOUD A9 is the best stereo speaker ever! The sound quality is amazing, and it looks super sleek. The app is so easy to use and makes controlling the speaker a breeze. One of my favorite features is how it automatically connects to my vinyl disk player with a cable, and the WiFi connection is so smooth, especially when I'm playing HiRes music from Qobuz. The only thing that would make it even better is if it could work with FreeBOX TV for an even more awesome video projector experience.

ServiceThe store feels cozy and welcoming, which makes shopping there very enjoyable. The person who helped me knew a lot about the products and was obviously well-trained. She answered all my questions confidently, which made me trust my purchase. Their expertise and great customer service make this store stand out from others I've been to. I would definitely give them a top rating for their excellent service.
Portable A1 Speaker
Portable A1 Speaker
ProductThe Portable A1 speaker is really well-built, feels sturdy and like it's well put together. But man, let me tell you, the sound quality is a total disappointment. The bass is way too strong, making this loud booming noise that just ruins the whole listening vibe. It's a bummer that a well-known brand like this would put out something with such poor sound. And to top it off, I got this as a gift so I can't even return it, which just adds to my aggravation.

Beoplay A1 speaker purchase
Returns & RefundsI bought a Beoplay A1 speaker not long ago and was really happy with how good it sounded and looked. But, after only using it for six months, the speaker suddenly stopped working. I reached out to the company to see about getting it fixed, but they said it was out of warranty so they couldn't do anything about it. They just told me to check out their refurbished site and recommended I buy something else instead. I was pretty let down by their lack of customer service and how they seem more interested in selling than taking care of customers.
E8 earbuds
E8 earbuds
ProductThe E8 earbuds have great sound quality, but don't let that fool you - the connectivity is a total disaster. As an engineer, I was shocked by how a top-of-the-line product could have such terrible technical issues. The ease of using Bluetooth and quick connection, like cheaper earbuds or headphones, was completely missing with these. After dealing with constant connection problems, I ended up tossing the E8 earbuds in the trash.
75-inch television
75-inch television
Returns & RefundsI was so happy when I first got my hands on the 75-inch TV, but that feeling didn't last long. Right after the warranty ended, I started seeing black lines on the screen. I reached out to the company for help, but their technicians told me the screen was faulty and couldn't be replaced because it was no longer in production. I paid $200 for the technician to basically tell me that there was no hope for my pricey TV. It's really disappointing to spend money on what you think is a top-notch product, only to run into such big problems soon after. This bad experience has turned me off from buying anything else from this company in the future, and I'll make sure to warn others about their products.
Beolit 20 purchase
Beolit 20 purchase
ProductBuying the Beolit 20 is totally worth it - it's an amazing product that stands out from the rest. The price might be a bit steep, but the quality and value you get are definitely worth it. The tech is top of the line and delivers on both satisfaction and reliability. So props to the brand for making such a fantastic product! Cheers!
Beosound A1
Beosound A1
ProductEh, gotta tell ya, the Beosound A1 is a total game-changer, eh. I'm just amazed by the sound quality and cool design of this speaker, eh. It fits right in with my way of life, and I love that I can take it with me wherever I go, eh. It's been my trusty sidekick during all my outdoor fun and indoor chill time. Plus, the battery life is top-notch and I haven't had any problems with staying connected at all, eh.
Beosound Shape purchase
Beosound Shape purchase
App & PortalI just got a Beosound Shape and I'm pretty happy with it. The design is awesome and the setup was quick and easy. But gotta say, the B&O App they give you is not great. It doesn't work with Amazon Music or Spotify, and you can't even use a Network Share, which is a letdown.
