    Family tree research

    Even though I didn't have a lot of money to spend on digging into my family history, I decided to give it a shot. I've heard some sketchy things about other companies, so I figured I'd give this one a go. The whole process was pretty simple, but there were a couple of typos in some names that made me wonder about the info's accuracy. Unfortunately, I couldn't fix those mistakes in the original documents. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the DNA test will give me the right info, but the price caught me off guard. I can't wait to see the results and I'm thankful for the chance to add to the database. The customer service team was super nice and helpful when I had questions.

    DNA kit purchase

    I gotta say, using that DNA kit was a walk in the park, and sending it off for testing was stress-free. Can you believe I got my results in under four weeks? Way faster than I thought! The info they gave me really got me thinking and gave me a peek into where my ancestors came from. Although I was kinda hoping for more diversity in my DNA results, you know, you can't really pick and choose your genes, eh? But being able to connect with possible relatives based on shared DNA is a pretty sweet added bonus. All in all, I'd say getting this DNA kit was totally worth every loonie.

    DNA test purchase

    I recently bought a DNA test kit from this company and I gotta say, it was a pretty good experience! The service was quick and I liked how they helped me out right away when I had a little problem with the choices. One thing I think they could do is have just one delivery fee for a bunch of kits ordered. Also, even though I was happy to get a free month of extra services with my purchase, it would've been better if it started when I got my results, not right when I bought it.

    I had a really good experience with the customer service team when my sample got lost in the mail, and they fixed things up pretty fast when there were issues sending a second one. The results I got were bang on and showed up right when I thought they would. The website was super easy to use, making it a breeze to connect with DNA matches if I wanted to. All in all, I'm happy with how things went and I can't wait to dig deeper into my family history.

    I've been a customer for nearly 25 years and I've always found the services to be top-notch. Recently, I had some problems with my family trees and Rob from customer service was super helpful in sorting them out for me.     DNA results revealing Italian, Iberian, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh ethnicity

    OMG, I always thought I was Italian, but it turns out I'm part Spanish and Irish too! How cool is that, eh? My DNA results showed me a whole new side of my heritage and now I know why I love certain things, you know? MyHeritage really opened my eyes to the diversity in my background, and I couldn't be happier, eh?

    Ancestry DNA test results unclear

    I got my stepson an Ancestry DNA test not too long ago, and we were kind of let down by the results. We totally knew his dad's side has roots in French Quebec, but the test didn't pick up on any French ancestry. It mostly pointed to Italian roots, which wasn't a surprise, but the absence of French background left us scratching our heads. Now we're feeling unsure about the results and have all these lingering questions.

    Collecting my DNA samples was easy, but sending them to the lab was a whole other story. Shipping carriers didn't want to deal with DNA samples, saying they were biohazards. It created a lot of stress and hassle for me. I had to take matters into my own hands and deliver the samples to the US myself, using USPS certified mail. It was unexpected and not something I planned for when I bought the DNA test kit.

    Ancestry breakdown, missing historical details

    I really like how detailed the ancestry breakdown and country origins are, but I kinda wish they included more about when my ancestors came to America or other countries, you know? And I was hoping for more info on my Native American bloodlines and ancestry. It would have been cool to see if I'm connected to Pocahontas like my grandma always talks about.

    Correction process difficulties

    When I tried to fix something on the website, I got really annoyed because the instructions online didn't match what was actually on the screen. It made it super hard for me to make the changes I wanted. The company should update their instructions with new screenshots so that it's easier for people to use the website.
