Wealthsimple - Reviews and experiences

Don't trust those guys! They went and changed my risk level without even giving me a heads up, and it ended up costing me big time in missed gains. Their customer service is just not up to par, takes forever to hear back from them. Honestly, it feels like they have no idea what they're even doing with my money.

I'm so disappointed with the customer service at this company. I called their helpline and was put on hold for over an hour. How can a big company like this have such awful support? Clearly, they don't put much effort into helping their customers, making it really hard for us to get the assistance we need quickly. By the time someone finally answered, I had already decided - I'm closing my accounts with them.

And if that wasn't bad enough, they had the nerve to hang up on me during the call. That kind of disrespect and disregard for customers has made me take my business elsewhere. I'll definitely be warning everyone I know to stay away from this company and their poor services.

My experience was so aggravating and disappointing, eh. Took me a solid 5 hours just to get a hold of customer service, and when I finally did, they hung up on me after a measly 3 seconds. Like, come on now, that's just not cool, eh. Can't even recommend their call options, they're that bad. And don't even get me started on how they handled last-minute trades, snatching my hard-earned cash and then blaming it on some so-called riskiness. Total lack of professionalism, if you ask me. Overall, my experience with them was just plain awful, and I'd seriously suggest folks steer clear.
