Wealthsimple - Reviews and experiences

Honestly, this service has been a nightmare for me. First off, I've missed out on so many potential trades because the stocks I wanted were not available. And when I did try to make a trade, the processing time was excruciatingly slow, causing me to lose out on potential profits. Not being able to short a stock or place a simple stop order is just ridiculous. And don't even get me started on their cryptocurrency trading - way too expensive compared to other platforms. When I finally decided to withdraw my funds, they told me my bank account was a business account (which it's not, I'm just a regular customer) and that their system didn't support it - but funny enough, they had no problem taking my money from that very same account. Frustrating to say the least.

I really like how the platform looks and how it works, but selling stocks on it is just so slow! It takes forever to actually sell a stock. By the time the sale goes through, the stock price has usually dropped a lot, meaning I lose money. These delays have caused me to lose a lot of money, putting me in a bad spot financially. I wouldn't suggest using this platform for quick trades or selling stocks if you want to make money fast.

Eh, this place is great if you're good at managing your own money. I got investin', cash, and crypto accounts and it's been pretty easy peasy. I don't really bother with their customer service much, I just check out the info on their website - it's real straightforward. And let me tell ya, their app is a lot cooler than their website on the computer, eh!
