OverallAs someone who uses TripAdvisor a lot, I've noticed a problem with the search results. They seem to favor sponsored listings over genuine local recommendations. I saw this clearly when I was looking for restaurants in Quarteira, Portugal. Most of the places listed were actually 10-20km away from the town. This sneaky trick makes it hard for people to find real local dining spots and it makes TripAdvisor seem less trustworthy for travel advice. I think TripAdvisor should focus more on accuracy and authenticity in their search results to help their users better.
