A night that should've been chill
A night that should've been chill
ChangesI was picturing steam, a robe and a quiet glass of wine. Instead we got an email seven minutes before arriving saying they couldn't do what we'd booked because they were short-staffed. Mood killer. We booked a shared treatment so one of us went in and the other sat awkwardly in the relaxation room. The room was warm, tiles nice, robes okay, but sitting there alone while someone else had the treatment felt weird. No offer of a drink. No staff checking in. Nobody said sorry. I tried calling the spa that day — phone just rang out. Emailed, no reply. Spoke to the onsite manager later and honestly got zero empathy. SpaSeekers told me to email complaints. That felt like being passed around. Dealt with Emily after that and still no real resolution. For what I paid I expected at least a proper apology or a small gesture. I go to spas to unwind after long work weeks, to reset. This just added stress to the end of the weekend. Facilities are fine, but customer handling and follow-up need work. Be cautious booking this one.
