Late check, decent fix

ServiceSaw it on a blog; cousin tipped me. Staff slow, then helpful, delivery fine.
Spa disappointment on our honeymoon
Spa disappointment on our honeymoon
Serviceyounger spa staff were brusque and made us feel like second‑class guests, so we didn’t stay long. Front desk and other hotel staff were polite, the room was comfortable, but the spa interactions left a bad impression and put a damper on an otherwise lovely trip. Could be better trained staff and clearer expectations; as it stands, I won’t book the spa again.

ServiceBooked a weekend to relax and work, but check-in was slow and staff barely helpful. Historic building is lovely, yet delivery of booking details and service felt sloppy.

Changesregret and thanks for understanding. The place itself felt fine in photos, I would have liked to try the pools and saunas. But the way they handled a simple change was disappointing. My advice: check the fine print or pick a refundable option.

Accommodationtowels left on the floor, tiny bottles of shampoo that felt watered down, and bizarrely no shelf for a razor in the shower after we asked for twins and were put in an accessible room (which felt like someone hadn’t thought it through). Breakfast had waits and some items came lukewarm, and the juice was concentrate — I couldn't drink it. Bar choices were basic. Staff were mostly friendly and trying hard, but you could see the corners being cut from management level down. Given the price tag for a supposed upscale stay, those faults matter. I left… a little annoyed but not without a soft spot for that spa.
