Spabreaks - Reviews and experiences

My folks hooked me up with a SPA day for my birthday and it was seriously the best present ever! I got a full body massage, a facial, and a pedicure. The people working there were really friendly and knew their stuff, the food they served was so tasty, and the vibe was just super chill and relaxing. I left feeling totally relaxed and spoiled, it was just fantastic. I'd definitely suggest it to anyone on the hunt for an awesome SPA day.

The spa on the website sounded way better than it actually was. The steam room was busted and smelled musty, not a great experience. The pool was packed with loud kids and hardly any chairs to chill out. Basically, the spa didn't match up to what they advertised.

The booking experience for the spa breaks was good, but the actual spa day was not so great. My wife and I went to Mollington Bannistre near Chester. The cream tea we had was not very good, the grounds were nice but not very clean. The gym was ok, but definitely in need of some maintenance. The pool and sauna were decent, however the jacuzzi and steam room were not working and we weren't given any reason why. The "relaxation" room had weird light fixtures. The hot stone massage I received was just a normal massage because the masseuse didn't know about the stones. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for my first time at a spa.

I just had a spa day that was not the greatest. They mixed up my treatment, left my locker unlocked, had issues with the room including a broken TV and phone, served food that wasn't like the menu said, and had to move me to two different rooms during my stay. It was really frustrating and disappointing, to be honest.

We had the best birthday celebration at the spa! There were five of us and we all had such a great time relaxing and enjoying ourselves. Having rooms that connected made it super easy for us to hang out and chat while getting treatments. It was a perfect experience and we will definitely be booking again for our next celebration.
