Cancellation
I purchased two airline tickets from Toronto to Rome Cancelled within 10 minutes of purchase. Priceline policy is full refund in 1 day if cancellation occurs within 24hrs.
It has been 5 days and no refund. I spoke to 2 agents and one supervisor and they all gave different information. The recorded message says they're waiting for the airline to refund. One agent told me purchase was refunded, second agent told me I have to deal with my bank directly.
The supervisor said that I cancelled so early the money did not go to the airline and instead of the 1 day refund policy, now it switched to 3 to 7 day policy. I asked them to keep their answers brief as I didn't have a lot of time to stay on the phone and both the agent and supervisor kept me on the phone at length reading from scripts. No human factor. Agent and supervisor kept repeating the scripted text over and over.
