AccommodationWaking up in Évora I remember the small quirks — the Lisbon hotel was solid, the Algarve place a bit tired but the location more than made up for it. Rental car pickup and drop-off were quick and easy. Overall a smooth trip; next time I’d split nights more evenly, two per hotel feels right.

The moment I looked out the plane and saw those patchwork green hills I relaxed, honestly felt my shoulders drop. Settling into that old fort-turned hotel, a roomy bed and a proper breakfast with staff who actually cared made me really glad I came. Would go back, no doubt.
