Stay at a hotel
My recent stay at a hotel was not great, especially because of the staff's attitude. They were short-staffed and we needed quick service, but the bar closed at 11pm sharp, so we had to wait in line without getting any drinks. It was a busy night because of a game, so closing early didn't make sense - they could have made a lot of money. I spent over £1200 on rooms for my clients, but I won't be coming back to this hotel in the future.
Recent hotel stay
I stayed at a hotel in the West Midlands not too long ago, and oh boy, it was terrible. The surrounding area was alright, with a big shopping center close by, but that didn't make up for how bad the hotel was. It felt like a blast from the past - stuck in the 90s with old-fashioned decor and things falling apart. And don't even get me started on the gym connected to the hotel, it was a mess. Filthy, no toilets, and no staff looking after it. I couldn't believe how unhygienic and poorly maintained it was.
Back and shoulder massage
I just had a back and shoulder massage at the spa, and I gotta say, it was pretty disappointing. I know a thing or two about massages, so I was expecting some top-notch skills and professionalism, but sadly, that's not what I got. The therapist's technique was way too rough, it felt like she was poking me with sticks instead of using her fingers. It was pretty painful and definitely not the relaxing time I had in mind.
