    Health and safety concerns

    Stayed at this hotel and man, it stank like gasoline. It was legit dangerous for us, like seriously not safe. We asked them to do something about it, but they ignored us. So we had to bounce in the middle of the night with no place to crash. Tried to complain to Hotels.com but all they did was offer a lame 10% off the next time we book. Bro, that ain't right!

    Expensive hotel room

    I reserved this really fancy room thinking it would be amazing, but turns out it was way too tiny. Had to switch to a regular room and they wouldn't refund me. And the breakfast was terrible.

    Refundable booking turned non-refundable

    I thought I had booked a room that I could cancel and get my money back later, but they ended up taking my money right away! When I tried to cancel a couple days later, they basically told me too bad, no refund for you. It was really tough to actually get in touch with them, but when I finally did, they were not helpful whatsoever. I'm definitely not using them again, I'd much rather just book directly with the hotel next time!

    Rip-off pricing tactics

    I had a really disappointing experience using this service recently. They were saying they only had a few rooms left to try and make me buy at higher prices. They were not giving me the best deals like they said and I actually found a much cheaper rate booking directly with the hotel. This sneaky pricing trick really turned me off and I'd warn others to be careful when using this platform.

    Booking disaster

    I had a horrible time booking a room through this online platform. Even after I paid in full, the hotel ended up canceling my reservation and selling the room to someone else for the next night. So now I'm stuck without a room and $867 down the drain. I definitely wouldn't recommend using this service if you don't want to risk losing your money.

    Lost my gold status

    So hey, listen, I've been a gold member for ages, eh? And then out of nowhere, I check my account and I'm downgraded! Can you believe that? I tried reaching out to customer service, but man, they were just terrible. They couldn't even solve the issue!     Room booking nightmare

    Wow, let me tell you, my experience with that booking website was just terrible. I booked a room ahead of time but when I got to the hotel, my reservation was cancelled with no heads up. I didn't even get any money back, and I had to quickly find two other hotels to stay in three different rooms for three nights. It was a total mess.

    Booking at an adult-only resort

    My experience booking with this company was terrible. I booked a resort in Fort Lauderdale for adults only, but when I got there, they didn't have my reservation, even though I had confirmation. I spent hours talking to a rep trying to sort it out, and they ended up offering me a different hotel, which actually wasn't available either. Ended up in a 2-star family-friendly hotel with extra fees. Trying to get a refund was a pain and took forever. Basically, my vacation was ruined and I was so frustrated.

    Loyalty rewards issue

    Recently, I had a problem with my loyalty rewards after booking more than $20,000 worth of hotels in the past 7 to 8 months. The system said I used a rewards night, but it didn't work. I contacted customer service, but they wouldn't give me a refund or add the redeemed night. Being a top-tier member, I thought I'd get better service. I decided to cancel my trip and membership because I was so frustrated.

    Hotel rooms for family celebration

    Oh boy, what a disaster! I had booked 2 rooms ages ago for a family event, and I even went to the hotel myself to double-check that everything was good to go, including making sure we had wheelchair accessible rooms. But when we got there, it was a total mess. The front desk couldn't even locate our rooms, the guy who claimed to be the "manager" was too busy staring at his phone to lend a hand, and in the end, we wasted so much time only to have to switch to a different hotel. I am so let down by this whole ordeal.

    Wasted time, no refund, zero help

    I am so upset about the terrible customer service from this booking site. They wouldn't give me a refund after I cancelled, wouldn't undo the cancellation, and wouldn't even let me book again with the same hotel using the money from the cancelled reservation. Their customer service is basically non-existent.

    My booking got messed up

    Oh my goodness, I was trying to book a hotel on this website and they ended up double-booking me for the same hotel on the same dates! Can you believe it? And then they wouldn't give me a refund, I mean, seriously, that's really not cool. I'm so mad, I feel like they totally scammed me. I'm definitely gonna report them to the authorities or something.

    Missed flight due to Hotels.com error

    I had a really bad experience with Hotels.com when I missed my flight because of them. I reached out to the hotel to see if we could work something out for my reservation and they were super nice about it, offering to help and give me a refund. But when it came to Hotels.com, they were not willing to budge at all and wouldn't let the hotel do anything to help me out. Their lack of flexibility and unhelpful attitude was so disappointing and frustrating for me as a customer. I would definitely recommend that others steer clear of using their services.
