Flight cancellation, customer service experience
Flight cancellation, customer service experience
ServiceI had a rough time with this airline recently. My flight got cancelled because of a storm, which I get is not their fault. But man, the lack of communication and help was just not cool. When I went up to the airline desk, the staff there seemed totally lost and couldn't give any details about refunds or helping us find a place to stay. The whole customer service vibe was just terrible, with the employees lacking in professionalism and skill.
Recent flight experience
Recent flight experience
ServiceMy recent flight with the national Irish airline was amazing. The staff were super friendly, really knew their stuff, and made the whole journey so pleasant. The seats were comfy, and even though there was a bit of bumpiness in the air, the pilots handled it like pros. I've flown with this airline four times now, and every single flight has been flawless.
Flight from Dublin to San Francisco
Flight from Dublin to San Francisco
ServiceMy recent flight from Dublin to San Francisco was pretty good overall. Going through US pre-clearance in Dublin was quick and saved time when we landed in the US. The plane layout was comfy with the 2-4-2 setup, and checking in online was easy. The flight attendants were really nice and kept checking on us. The only downside was that the meal service felt a bit rushed, they served meals just 2 hours into the 11-hour flight. Also, it was a bummer that alcoholic drinks weren't free, but we could buy them if we wanted. The food was okay, I've had better on other long flights. The entertainment options were decent and helped pass the time. On the way back, a child got sick and the crew handled it well, even when things got serious and they needed medical help. All in all, for the price I paid, I can't complain too much and might fly with them again in the future.
Short-haul flight experience
Short-haul flight experience
ServiceMy most recent quick flight was with this one airline, and I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with the whole shebang. The trip was supposed to take off from one airport, but ended up going to a different one - but the customer service team handled it like pros. And can I just say, the flight attendant named Karen? She was a gem - super professional and friendly, even giving us tips on where to go and what to eat at our final stop. All in all, it was a really nice and smooth experience.
Connecting flight rebooked, disability assistance provided, asked another passenger to switch seats for more room, good service, on-time flight
Connecting flight rebooked, disability assistance provided, asked another passenger to switch seats for more room, good service, on-time flight
ServiceMy recent experience with the airline was really good. I ended up missing my connecting flight and had to rebook, but the airline staff were super helpful and got me set up with disability assistance to make things easier for me. It was a huge relief to have that extra support when things were so stressful. And then, during the flight, the flight attendants went out of their way by asking another passenger to switch seats so I could have more room. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and willingness to help me out. Overall, the service was top-notch as usual, and the flight was on time, so it turned out to be a really positive travel experience.

ServiceMy recent flight experience was really disappointing. The airline didn't give us all the information we needed, which made me feel like I was being tricked. I thought I was going to be flying with Aer Lingus, but turns out it was actually Air WAMOS. The plane was old and dirty, the entertainment systems barely worked, and the food was not great. The flight attendants didn't seem friendly and didn't talk much to the passengers. When I tried to talk to Aer Lingus about my concerns, I either got a generic response or no response at all. It was only when I made a big deal about it that I got a small voucher for a future flight, which didn't really make up for the bad experience. I'm worried and disappointed that Aer Lingus is still using Air WAMOS, which is a poorly rated carrier. Overall, my experience with Aer Lingus was not good at all.

ServiceThe crew on the plane was so unprofessional, eh? They totally fibbed about the meal choices and ran out of breakfast for us all. I was on a really long flight and the service was a major letdown compared to when I flew with American Airlines last time.
Delayed flight and poor customer service
Delayed flight and poor customer service
ServiceThe service provided by Aer Lingus was really disappointing, eh. Our flight from Barcelona to Birmingham was delayed, so we had to run to the gate only to be told we couldn't board with just 2 minutes to spare. And then, to top it off, the plane just sat at the gate for another 10 minutes after we were turned away. That kind of disorganization and lack of consideration for passengers is just not okay, you know. I was feeling pretty frustrated and inconvenienced by the whole situation. It definitely left a bad taste in my mouth, and I'll think twice before booking with this airline again, eh.
